quick note, just need a little advice.
I'm torn between choices, and the difference in price is the IRR differences. TSER value seems to be a slight difference. Just don't know if the difference is worth the price.

RhinePro XD5 6mil - RM1100
UVR 99%
VLT 60%
IRR 90%
TSER 56%
VLR 22%

Sahara-X Safety IR Mystery Black 5098 5MIL - RM1500
UVR 99%
VLT 50%
IRR 98%
TSER 60%
STRENGTH above 126LBS
color: black

Sahara-X Safety IR Mystery Black 5095 4MIL/6MIL - RM1388
UVR 99%
VLT 65% / 50%
IRR 95%
TSER 56%
STRENGTH above 126LBS
color: natural blue

Why not consider those top names alr mentioned in this thread - vkool, HO, raytech etc
These should be in yr price range & they come with added peace of mind. Just google on the installers though, since their skills play a big role in the final product quality

Hi all, Yesterday I go ask price for my Nissan Latio Sedan.

The shop qoute me RM1500 for Solar guard - Armorcoat (Sterling 60), price including install all window and front rear windscreem + remove old film.

Cheap or expensive ?

The spec write on it
- UV = 99%
- IR = 80-90%
- Visible = 60 %
- Film type = Security film

Is it correct the spec they display ?

Hi, thanks for the spec, but inside the spec got mention "solar heat rejection 44%". Is it same with IR ? I don't see any "IR" rejection inside. hmm.gif

How about the price, is ok or expensive ? Any1 know ?

Actually Solar Gard Sterling series is Residential film in US/AU. Global spec dint state IRR, only TSER... So we dunno the actual IRR doh.gif
RM1.5k should be normal price and do you know what's the FWS/BWS film? hmm.gif

Solar Gard do not have IRR as they believe the IRR reading is misleading customer,
therefore the only to compare is TSER

Depends, you can tint as dark or reflective as possible because we do not
need to comply with JPJ rules tongue.gif

I just went and install Cool World XD3 on last Wednesday.

The installation with removing old original tint was super fast.
It took less than an hour with 3-4 staffs to complete the whole thing.

Is it normal or too fast? I'm scare that it was too fast for a good
installation job. I'm scare that it's gonna have some kind of problem
in the future.
