Hi bro, there is no film from any brand that can make your car "not hot" for parking long. My car is using Raytech CS85, IRR85%, I tested the car just a little bit warm within 1 hour parking under the sun. Still feel great with it. Although the car is tinted with solar control film, maybe only 5% of heat coming in from window, what do your think if this 5% of heat is keep coming for 2-3 hours. The heat will trap inside the car and become hotter and hotter. This called "Green House Effect". If you have any device that can suck the heat or hot air out of car while parking. Then, I think your car will be much cooler. Normally, what i do is wind down 2 side windows for 1 inch, of course my car is fitted with door visor, then I feel much cooler when get in the car. However, due to too many robbery case, i'm not doing so now. shocking.gif

From my personal experience, it take only 5 minutes to cool down my car, although I park my car for several hours. Install a great tinted film will give you better result.

Hi bro, thanks for ur explanation.
Coz previously i heard others said go for those branded tint like vkool, aircool (its years ago, that time i only own old car and with cheap tint), for the highest spec one it could totally reject heat and car cabin temperature is totally like never absorb any heat. So just would like to verify if this statement is true or not only...

Well, logical thinking do you think it is true? It is true only if your car is moving and air con is on. Your air con keep the temperature low for your car cabin. If you install the high quality solar film, you will not feel the heat while driving even for very long time. But parking is different story.

I think about something, all we know when car parking for long, say about 2-3 hours under hot sun, interior cabin sure will heat up gradually. Only which brand of tinted film can keep the lowest temperature. This is something interesting. I am thinking to suggest Raytech tinting, to do the experiment on this issue. thumbup.gif

The things is different car, the OEM glass come might come with different color, the outcome might b different depending on the film you choose. Different series, the color also different. Crystalline 60 & 40 there is huge different interms of the color.

So the question is are you going to tint the same series like my car on yr car? Provide you n I have the same car.

So If your car is the same as mine, then you can hv my car photo that it could help, else I dun see a point getting pic of the tint. Lighting also play an important role.

If color is your major concern, best is you drop by the shop ask him to tint the film that you want on your window...see whether the color is acceptable to you or not. I guess that is best choice, you can have.

Was thinking.... What security film is good? My dad say by doing double layer tint, it will be 'mat rempit'-free.
I still think there is a proper security film and not double layer tint... Correct me if im wrong

For those who eagerly wanted to view, how does the color looks like. Pls check out this site.
http://solutions.3m.com.my/wps/portal/3M/en_MY/AutoFilm/Home/Products/Comparison/

There is a simulator for you to try out the different different color of the film on the car.
Also full details of their film. From the chart I guess you can a clear picture of 3M product as I mentioned earlier, their full range of product.

3M Nanos is the latest safety film develop by 3M. It combines safety and UV protection, 2 in 1 protection.

Earlier, this the method they provide double layer protection. 1 Layer is safety film (3M scotchshield) , follow by 2nd layer of U.V flim (Crystalline, Color Stable,ST, FX HP). Due to 1st layer safety film has lesser U.V protection, thus they apply this method.

3M Schothshield is the security film from 3M.

Thanks, Viper-bro ..

But I think you made an error .. Scotchshield has UV protection as shown in the table but it doesnt filter as much as CR70 or Nano series.
