Hi all & masta Eiraku.
Been following this thread closely. Very interested in the miix 510 but with the recent price drop for sp4, still undecided. Some questions:
1. Anyone faced any issues with their miix?
2. Anyone used usb-c to hdmi/vga adapter with their miix? Any recommendation of adapter brand?

No issues as of yet, except some wonkiness with he KB Cover when used with some third-party AC adapters.

As for adapters, I use a few. No real recommendations either, as most HDMI/VGA adapters work fine, so it depends on you. If you're looking as multi-port adapters though, please be aware that the Type-C PD power passthrough that most of these types of adapters WILL NOT work with the Miix (as the Miix 510 is not PD rated, neither is it TB3).

Also ordered tempered glass + adapters from Lazada.

i3 version got keyboard backlight or not?

Last I check at Thundermatch, no keyboard backlight for i3 kaby lake.

Confirm 7th gen. Received the Miix oredi.
Seller's price was RM3346 but I use RM100 11street voucher. Seller is TMT. Invoice/receipt from Thurdermatch actually.

Still cant test the stylus tho. Searched whole ioi city but no shop has stock for 4a battery. Hav to order online.

You can get 9v alkaline battery of Tesco or Mr. DIY brand. Inside have 6 AAAA battery.

Energizer 9v also have, but check the battery code is 6LR61, otherwise it is of soft pack type.

All-IT and Harvey Norman has AAAA in stock, if you don't wanna go all DIY and bust open 9v cells.

But more importantly, there's no AAAA battery in the box? That's strange.

Yep. Searched All-IT, Harvey Norman & all computer shops in IOI city mall but all no stock. Surprised also the battery was not provided in the box

any1 using the new Miix 510 with 7th gen i5? any complain? still thinking getting Miix or SP4 with m3 core

Jz bought the Miix i5. So far no complains. Haven't pushed it to the limit tho. B4 bought was comparing with sp4 i5 4gb ram & 128 ssd. Decided not worth to pay RM500 extra for sp4 with lesser spec.

Miix's i5 shd hav more power, plus 8gb ram & 256 ssd. Hav to pay 1k xtra for sp4 with same spec. Plus, I like the miix's black colour

Very hard to find 12inch sleeve for Miiix.
Bought this simple A4 size padded sleeve at Daiso for RM5.90. Got diff colors to choose. Jz nice with some extra space to put stylus.
