After done 4th service of 30,000km / 18 month, burnt RM458 included extra Fuel Treatment & Engine Flush additives (both of it total up RM50). Both of it are NASA brand and result is negligible. Top Up for Full Syn Engine Oil.
After tested drive a highway, acceleration is quite responsive. Dunno was it cause by Spark Plugs, because the Electrode between centre to ground is quite a big gap. No sluggish while overtaking slow vehicle.
Power window is lubricated and lifting up and down are faster and a lot of silent.

QUOTE(iamloco @ Dec 17 2021, 12:39 AM) Eyeing on saga vvt 2019 as second car.. will mostly used for city driving. What are the common issues of this car? If mainly drive in city, highly recommended Myvi, Toyota or Honda because of low Fuel Consumption and high Resale Value. If I recalled correctly, Myvi is still having bad NVH even the facelift CVT version is out. You may check the thread of Myvi Gen 3 in lowyat or FB if interested. If your budget is higher, recommend new Honda City(DOHC type engine) for fun driving, advanced tech(camera assist from left side mirror), and lower Fuel Consumption compared to previous City. Else, Toyota Vios for comfort ride and super low Fuel Consumption. Lastly, Proton Saga is a budget vehicle which is great overall except low Resale Value, high Fuel Consumption in city drive and stupid stock Tires.

QUOTE(SMH @ Feb 10 2022, 02:27 PM) can be unscrew, right? just need a screwdriver... Ermmmm, the metal plate got 1 Number 4th Hex bolt in the middle and 2 plastic clips on the bottom. So required a spanner or ratchet wrench. Guess I'll put aside of my SAXO cabin filter into my storeroom. Damn, should take photo of it before install back the glovebox. Dunno will the 40k KM /24 months service force us to change the N95 Cabin Filter or not...Last time don't have this thing before the announcement of all Protons cars have N95 cabin filter installed. If not compulsory to change the N95 Cabin Filter, I'll change it immediately. N95 Cabin Filter is expensive and doesn't reduce odor greatly. QUOTE(Najmods @ Mar 7 2022, 10:23 PM) Glad to hear you got it fixed [attachmentid=11111545] On unrelated note, I'm still looking to improve throttle response without resorting to something extreme like changing to standalone ECU or throttle by cable. I went to Doris shop in Section 15 Shah Alam to 'korek' throttle body and do pedal response. Its only RM110 so why not. Its the cheapest thing to do. [attachmentid=11111551] They tapered the end of the throttle body where it meets the air box so the airflow is smoother to flow into the throttle body. Even I skeptical at first but when I tried it, it does made a difference. At low RPM starting around 2500RPM it made noticeable improvement where the engine easily picks up speed all the way to 4000RPM. The sluggish performance at low speed is reduced quite a bit. The pedal response is it did what I did before, the elimination of deadzone where there is no response (tekan kosong) when you initially press the pedal. After been driving for about 2000km with it, I will recommend anyone to do this as it will make the engine more responsive It didn't make the fuel consumption higher, that still depends on how heavy your right foot is. But that's not the end of it. I also buy throttle controller, this one is just RM16x including shipping. But I only been driven for a couple of days so I can't make a thorough reviews just yet. But initial impression is positive. If anyone wanted a review I'll make it. [attachmentid=11111609] Hi, how is the review of improvement of adjusted throttle body? Your comment is giving me the urge to go to do the pedal response in your recommended workshop. The current throttle response is giving me nerves when overtaking other slow/dangerous vehicles in highway. Hence, does the throttle controller help?

QUOTE(Najmods @ Mar 14 2022, 01:00 AM) Its been a week now since I use the throttle controller, I'm still playing with it on what is the best setting, I'm looking to get as close as 1:1 as possible. Its safe to say that even at E setting (so called Economy setting) feels like an improvement, E.9 is close enough to feel 1:1 response to my right foot means you push 20% throttle, the car open 20% throttle body. But for normal daily I use the P1 (so called comfort mode) at 1.1-1.3 setting it feels natural enough that the car is more spirited when you press the throttle a bit harder for overtaking. I know how this throttle controller work, it just makes the 'slope' or voltage ramp even steeper means if you input 20% gives more than 20%, sometime close to 50% This is noticeable if you select the so called race mode at P3 mode) or use the most aggressive 9 setting in each mode that makes the car feels like it have more power but truth is its like you floor it without you actually flooring it. If you get what I mean. From RM16x its cheap compared to other brand. Here is the shopee link, the code for our Saga is 870, the seller double confirm before buying and ask you to open the connector. https://shopee.com.my/%E2%80%BC%EF%B8%8FRea...8d-ac3f7a3260c5I'd rate the acceleration before is about 2/5, now its close to perfection. I still hate drive by wire throttle but I hate it less now I put up a review on Wapcar since they wanted me to, please do read it, this is about a few month back before doing any of the mentioned mods https://forum.wapcar.my/-pta93d389989e6de?f...M7umRthWhMeIWWIThanks and nice review your written, guess I'll buy throttle controller to reduce the unresponsive throttle.

Hi, guys. I'll be leaving some mini review in the middle of year 2020 of my Saga Premium.
Pros: 1. Spacious trunk, can fit many big luggage and other stuff, even can lift down the passenger seat to load it up with long/tall object 2. Comfortable seats 3. Comfortable ride, unlike Honda of jumpy and incomparable to Toyota of smoothness ride 4. Reliability of 4AT transmission, especially made by Korea (Korea cars are good but our local mechanics outside of CS are not expert enough to fix them) 5. Cheap car with cheap maintenance fee (Buy what you need, not buy for showing off, it will be suffer toward yourself only every month of car loan) 6. Bigger brakes same with current Persona, that's why those Rims are changed starting of the year of 2019 7. Proton's trump car, super cold air con 8. Seats are comfortable, doesn't feel cheap quality of fabric and sponge like Perodua 9. Its platform is same with Savvy which its ancestor was capable to be a rally car, that's why cornering is stable and firm during 60-80 km/h (DO NOT try unless you know your car what is capable of) 10. Stock sound system (4 speakers) is marvelous on a budget car. Quite out of my expectation and a lot of better than Perodua Myvi
(1st and 2nd issues were found during DO) Cons: 1. The plastic cover of the gear knob was fall off (fixed in HQ due to missing screw inside, basically low QC when delivering the car after MCO 1.0) 2. The screen of the headunit is defect because the screen will keep flashing yellow ray, but visible still (got replacement after 3 months of waiting, matte screen so able to see clear on broad daylight, the defected unit is transparent screen) 3. Within 1 year, the fuel hose was leaking after found out by heavy smell of petrol after parked (immediately sent to one of nearby SC to get replacement) 4. Was facing the rattling noise when the car is going left or right side (gotten fixed by keep visiting all nearby SC) 5. Sometimes will get the rattling noise from driver side from the window control panel (sometimes put my arm on it to keep it quiet when accelerating) 6. The headlamp will be too dim on the dark highway with no street lights on 7. Stock tires are dangerous (changed into Yoko ES32 after few months) 8. No armrest but I'll just use my left hand to hold steering and let my right arm rest on window control panel side 9. Normal issue of FC and non-responsive(save fuel built-in) due to Campro engine 10. Stock wipers are ridiculous, can't even see after wiped during rain. Changed into 3M and fine afterwards 11. Sometimes will get engine rattling when hard accelerating or normal, common issue among Campro engines. Many are said can be solved by using RON 97 or higher
Summary: All of issues can solved in SC and required time on it. Just only issue on Campro engine. Everything works perfectly fine and daily drive is amusing and quite fun.
Can't expect more on this budget car and this car just serve me well after all minor issues gotten fixed up.

QUOTE(Ahkuan @ Feb 5 2024, 02:31 PM) After replaced battery the reverse beeping sound sounds weird. Beep rapidly, anyway to reset it ? I've gotten facing weird reverse beeping sound last year, I was just slapped hard on my odometer dashboard and it went back to normal. I've changed my old 2nd 1.10 year old battery from Yuasa to Century last month, no weird reverse beeping sound too. This post has been edited by ghost00: Feb 5 2024, 03:48 PM
