Meaning everytime stop or idle for 2 min we need to change to N? Otherwise the car will be like u said? Shaking and all?

Anyone has issue with the radiator hose unplugging itself?
Joined a group page in fb and got a few complain the hose clip is terrible.  Somemore if happen need to call tow truck to send back proton centre.

Just sign my agreement yesterday. Now waiting for the white version to restock.

Yeah, it will be good that you switch it to N when you expecting a stop that spend more than 30 seconds. Because when it is in D, the gearbox is literally in engaged mode, and it's not good.

the gearbox upgrade you mentioned, meaning the 4AT gearbox to be upgraded to resolve rubber band effect? Or the cvt gearbox for existing persona/iriz/saga?
*
Will change from CVT into 4AT for Persona from what I’ve heard from the Technical Manager. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Was fixed by one of the bolt of the brake that was not tightened.

Now overall ok.

Does anyone install any rear strut bar?

front or back brake? Which SC? How many time u bring back before they successful ratify the problem?
*
Front brakes. Just discovered randomly from that SC when doing maintenance service.

The foreman was noticed my car’s brake won’t fully stop which will move and slip in 1 step more before fully stop when stepping hard on brake. I thought it was common but actually not.😵

Earlier u mentioned car shaking and no power and shaking all along the way when accelerating . What wrong? Has the problem solve?
*
The root cause is remained unknown. Maybe it’s the one of the brake’s bolt loose.

Already drove 3months more and normal as usual.

Hi, does anyone take semi or fully syn engine oil for car service?

Is the semi syn oil same oil maintenance interval like the fully syn oil?

What the SC mentioned the oil maintenance interval is:
Semi - 5,000KM / 3 months
Fully - 10,000KM / 6 months

Am I got scam?

I always take semi due to the cheaper price + I don't drive that much.

And I change my oil following the maintenance schedule, 10,000 km / 6 months no matter what the counter SC says.

It was written on the car manual that no matter semi/fully, it can last for 10,000km / 6 months.

Proton SC always gives different answers for the same thing...

I did my last service at COSE Shah Alam on 24 Dec 2020, but the oil change sticker they put next change: 24 May 2021.

Then I ask the counter SC before I leave, they say just follow the proton app, which is 24 June 2021. doh.gif
*
Well, I just got scammed last year December🤦‍♂️ Already booked 1st June back to the same SC coz feeling my driveshaft got tak-tak sound while turning either left or right when the car is idle.

Mentioned Semi oil can run only 5k or 3 months. Will scold them when I arrived there.

Hi, guys. Beware of servicing in World Car Care in Seri Kembangan. Saw one of the review mentioned normal oil only can sustain 5,000km

Anyway to make the headlamp brighter. Really bad at night. Reviews of Osram night breaker bulbs is also not much improvement. Anybody has better suggestion?.

Bosch gigalight H4? Saw the reviews good from Shopee.

Price about RM60 to RM93 (Bosch online store from LZD/SHP)

Still waiting incoming sales or discount from Shopee or lazada to get to try.

Wont help much one la.
If front windscreen tinted dark enough, throw in Philips Racing also maybe still feel dark tongue.gif

But having said la, if bumper got space for fog light (for saga vvt non-MC version), then can install projector fog light (with cut-off)
Pair with HID/LED also good enough to shine the road ady. Price is pretty affordable.

If bumper dont have space for fog light, then can opt for retrofit projector into headlamp, even better, but costlier than projector fog light.

Guess I’ll stick as usual, drive slow slow at night. Stay safe~

Hi, guys. Anyone facing or noticed hose filler cracked like the image attached?

I was noticed by high fuel consumption recently and the fuel smell after the engine is off yesterday . Also awoke from the saga group that many people got FOC hose filler replacement after doing maintenance service.

One of the hoses from the top of the fuel filter, is cracked. The hose got the liquid stain. I think maybe it’s the fuel leaks.

Don’t dare to drive my car now.

My car is 4AT 2020 year model.

Hi there~ can you share with me the wider picture or detailed location of the hose so that I could have a check on my car too? There were one or twice I smell petrol when I was driving and noticed increased fuel consumption too..
*
The hose is located on the top of the fuel filter. You can check by laying down near the right tyre underneath the boot.

Sorry, I’ve already parked outside my house since the cracked hose and afraid of high fc. Can’t get any new picture.

Already got it as replacement when doing 20k service. Other issue like steering tak-tak noise is pending to be fix on next appointment. Too less technician to work during FMCO.

So far normal fuel consumption.

Hi everyone, my son has shortlisted BLM and Bezza as his next ride.

May I know what are BLM common problems or issues after Geely managed Proton ?

Many thanks for all advice.
*
BLM model is a 10 year old car. So are you buying 2nd hand car or new car for your son? Fresh graduated?

I was a manual BLM owner before and used 1 year and bought as 2nd hand after my graduation for work. Quite a bit high fuel consumption but fun in driving and spacious boot(can put a box of TTracing chair).

Sold that car and bought VVT premium in 2020 due to high cost of changing parts(absorbers, mounting, etc) and repairs(major issue on radiator and top overhaul for engine due to previous owner overheated the engine before). Foreman was quoted approximate RM2000 for engine top overhaul only.

The reason why the engine still can be used because of using 2 gasket to avoid any leak.

Hi, anyone of you encounter gearbox noise of "tak tak" sound from engine bay?

Coz when I accelerate from low RPM, the noise is like driving manual in low RPM. The gear hitting sound.

Same like the post above. Is it common problem in infamous CamPro engine?
QUOTE(hkh046 @ Dec 7 2021, 10:56 AM)
Hi all. For saga vvt auto, anyone experience sometime when pressing speed pedal having klak klak sound (like driving manual car when you engage wrong gear). Juz get some idea before sending in.

Sorry, I think it's from engine bay. No vibration underneath the gear knob, should be engine noise.
