The point is, there's no motivation for you to upgrade your GPUs, when most of the game you play are casual, semi-competitive and e-Sports games where system requirements are low. Why bother getting a GTX1080 or a Titan X when you're playing DOTA2?

No budget for 1080 but maybe 1060 6GB / 1070 is possible. Oh? I don't just play that, I'm a midranger playing all sorts of titles up to Watch Dogs 2 and you definitely need above GTX 960 to play for smooth framerates, no?

You tend to overlook what I say earlier. I do mind quality graphics sometimes. Like I say, preferences can change and not just by your "1-day judgement" term haha. Not many in Malaysia here are as "affordable" as you. Please look at that before saying. I will go back on topic to discuss with others anyway. LUL-ness.

There's a reason why your card is called a MAINSTREAM card and the GTX1080 and TXP classified as FLAGSHIP. Logically speaking, there's more mainstream cards than flagships, and mainstream cards runs EASIER on your type of games than graphics-heavy games. And since there are more MAINSTREAM cards, more people play easier to run games like your DOTA2 than other graphics intensive games.

With regards to your Youtube comment, that's the thing when I say you did this for the visibility: you want to be noticed so that brand sponsorship comes in. Your live feed is littered with promo posts, likes and shares to get items. I don't do that, and I don't do my Youtube channel for visibility or views either. It's for my own archival record to see what I've played and one, and how I can improve on my next run. If I am fishing for views on YouTube, I'd be making reaction videos with a small square of my face on the corner making weird and funny faces to get attention. I don't do that. My condolences if you do.

P/S: 4K60 was a reality in 2016, not a dream. Only thing is, it requires serious investment in hardware than what's minimum for casual and e-Sports game. As for being humble, I suggest you take a look at yourself in the mirror too.

I believe the argument has gone too far. This is an NVIDIA GeForce thread, and NVIDIA makes GPU from the mightiest of Titan X Pascal to the most-budget-kinda-waste-of-money Geforce 610. Anybody discussing about their NVIDIA GeForce product or their interest in GeForce product are welcomed, even if it is the Geforce 210 (why do you buy that card again?).

Yeah but it is good if everyone respect all the budget limit of all the gamers. Not everyone can afford Titan X and even if it is possible, we tend to spend it elsewhere like foods , investments but not entire on gaming rigs.

My earliest Geforce was MX 4 or something, it has glorious moment for Half-Life / Counter Strike 1.6... Them good times!

It's also common human decency to respect others instead boasting your achievement and mocking other's achievements, when it has nothing to do with topic at hand.

Personally, I'm not interested in this, even if it looks beautiful. Online multiplayer aspect and single-player-online-only turns me off. Plus, story in single player looks thin.

True. Different people have different priorities. It adds to the color of of the world. Some people prioritizes performance over graphical fidelity. Others prefer story over gameplay. Some prefer achievements over experiences. Having different priorities is what makes us unique, and special in our own way.

My first GPU was the Radeon 9600 pro, which later was replaced with my first Geforce card, the FX5500. Even having graphics card at the time, already make me feel special. Hehe

Polaris even more less appealing compare to Pascal/Maxwell. each generation pace is slowing down same goes to CPU's segment.

I'm a simple man. I respect people who respects low-end to high end GPU users as long they are nice and not un-sociable. That's enough.

don't argue lah. i can't even afford single titan x. yeah GTX 1050Ti consider quite good for moba.

i'm using #poorpeople i5-4460 so don't need so care just enjoy the games.

That's considered midrange enough. Mine is i5-3rd gen but I'm going to boost my 8GB to 16GB RAM soon for better performance.

Hi guys, I've just switch to green camp yesterday. Bought myself a Palit Gtx 1060 3gb dual fan. Previous gpus were all from the red camp hd6870, 7870xt and finally the r9 280x vaporx.

Switched camp when r9 280x died on me lel while it did serve it's purpose very well. Was contemplating between the rx470 or the gtx 1060. But sadly AMD no longer have bang for buck cards on the RX series. rx460 and rx470's performance seems less than stellar for it's price.

Anyway, the gtx1060 3gb performance is great and seems like a very good value card for me.

Is Polaris that boring? I think the improvement AMD has made over Bonaire/Pitcairn/Tonga is quite significant. But most of us would agree that between Pascal and Polaris, Nvidia definitely holds the crown this generation too.

I somewhat hope that Nvidia will soon launch a GTX1040 with the performance of GTX750 Ti at RM449
