I'm facing NVIDIA Installer failed error
, any known way to solve this? I tried clean install using DDU but still seeing the same error unfortunately.

Sooner or later I will need to find a new game that fit my taste to make use of the 1060 6G. All the games I played (Command & Conquer series, CS:GO etc) the card just do very well without breaking a sweat. Now don't shoot me... I am happy in 1080p, and my rig is about 5 years old.

lack of VRAM is an issue on higher refresh rate or resolution + game developer lazy too.
ya is playable but u might need to drop the setting lower cos u can't get more than 100 fps for high intensive games.
if dota 2, lol, cs-go etc no issue with everything max.

Post the driver install log and the windows event viewer logs, it'll help diagnose the issue.

TL;DR/TL;DW - Is it the game's fault (We're talking GTAV here, one of the most optimized games on PC), or is it a problem with the i5 6600K and 7600K?
Same case when the game goes over 160fps. Maybe it's time to flip those toggles for "better image quality" than lowering resolution and dropping sliders for "moar FPS"?

Takes 4 years for a flagship GPU(GTX680) to become entry level(1050Ti). *or depending on how you look at it, it takes 4 years to have the same flagship performance 4 years ago, to be affordable to your entry level card now ($500 to $140)*
Basically, you can chart how long you can stick with a flagship card until it's time to upgrade, provided you stick with the same screen resolution.
