Yeah but it is good if everyone respect all the budget limit of all the gamers. Not everyone can afford Titan X and even if it is possible, we tend to spend it elsewhere like foods , investments but not entire on gaming rigs.

My earliest Geforce was MX 4 or something, it has glorious moment for Half-Life / Counter Strike 1.6... Them good times!

But I doubt it will be the price stated cause it was directly convert from USD. As right now the currency exchange is really bombing in Malaysia, there might be hike on the actual price compare with it. If the price is 3.6k. I can just top out 300 hundred more to get 3 PS4 console.

As a 1070 user, I think I will continue use the card. Since I have to change my 2k monitor to 4k if I'm going to change to 1080. Heck, even my old computer in my hometown which is 670 still serve me well until now. ( Which most of the game is playable under medium setting ).

I have questions on the GTX1080ti.

Comparing the GPU of GTX1080ti and TitanXP, we can see that the 1080ti only have lesser ROP (8 lesser 88:96)
What is the relationship between TMU and ROP? How can the same amount of cores count feed to lesser ROP?
Will it have bottleneck at ROP and made some of the cores doesn't fully utilize?

**By the way, since that they remove 1GB memory module from the board (which is 11/12 of ROP count), I think they won't have the GTX970 issue...

Nice point on that... seems like AMD cannot find that sweet spot between TMU and ROP yet...

Since that the full GP102 chipset have 96 ROP with 224 TMU by design, it made me wonder how all these things connected and will some cores less active when some ROP disabled? Or is it irrelevant at all??

If being slightly conservative on the settings, say AA, then you'll get to 60fps.



Having said that, Volta flagship, either the GTX 1180 or GTX 2080 - knowing the gap between each architecture, will pretty much guarantee 4k60fps in all AAA titles.

I can't find much review but zotac and asus is around the price , what i worry is fast noise when loading or coil noise when full load.I am less worry now as you mention temp wouldn't heat much.
