not sure how much the gtx 1060. but if its RM1.4k - 50% = RM700.
miner rig is operating in a more extreme condition than normal - 24/7 - constant high load/heat surrounding and etc.
of RRP....not on top of RRP tongue.gif

I will not buy mining card, has bad experience on it. Last time I had 2 Sapphire 290 Tri-x, one was mining card, after 2 years it died (Sapphire graphic cards only come with 2 years warranty, so can't claim), the other one which was not mining card survived till now.

I think the supply has already normalize. The problem are the resellers. Their markup is just too much. Hopefully it will be normal next month or Sept.

If we only have Newegg support. How come Malaysia is the only major Asean country that is not supported by Newegg?

no, its not official. Newegg themselves made a statement the "Newegg MY" isnt affiliated to them. theyre just helping to become middle man to purchase items from Newegg US

PS: i bought from them too biggrin.gif

Was using my card with that reso. Gaming at mostly ultra or high settings. So, maybe medium to high on 1060?

1060 should be enough

No need to always go for ultra settings
Putting it to high nets you alot fps gains

Was using 1070 on 3440x1440, and it can handle ultra setting for now ( 40-70fps ) so I think 1060 will handle ultrawide 1080P fine for now.

Yes, I think 60hz monitor is not that taxing and that resolution is still lower than 1440p.

I would suggest 1070/1080. its better to overkill and have the gpu able to play at max settings longer than keep downgrading your graphic settings every year.
A RM2.6k 1080 is a good buy for me.
*the above only applies if you plan to use your gpu more than 3 years. whistling.gif

I would prioritize monitor over gpu.

I would rather play 2560x1440 144hz with GTX1060 than a 2560x1080 60Hz with GTX1080

unless the 2560x1080 got gsync (or freesync if you want team red lol), 50fps in 144hz monitor is so much smoother than 50fps in 60hz monitor, that's because 144hz monitor have more refreshes that match the 50fps interval than a 60hz monitor could.
