Looking at your siggy, you're not running on SSD ?
I recall last time I have similar freezing when I have my old hdd connected, not affecting overall performance as OS on SSD, but reading file stored on old hdd does cause random system freezes.
Happens to me often especially when the HDD sleeps. So when the PC starts to access it, the drive starts to spin up and that freeze the PC. It's kinda dumb - I thought we had multi tasking OS these days... but yeah.I recall last time I have similar freezing when I have my old hdd connected, not affecting overall performance as OS on SSD, but reading file stored on old hdd does cause random system freezes.
Since I turn off sleeping on HDD, this stopped happening.
