How to register to see the account with kids? Anyone knows?
*
answer is you cannot. major accounts only. coz must be 18 years old to register.

Even after updating personal data including my mobile no, still cannot register at myasnb. Maybe have to wait till they formally release this platform.

Had a quick read on their web.

Said that we are liable to charges and fees incurred in the transaction. Thought it is free.

Or a cover-all clause they put in for later if they need to start charging?
*
go to any ASNB agents, will be updated there and then. much faster.

For the online portal, the minimum top up amount is RM 100.00.

Can I key in amounts such as RM 120.00, or RM 130.56, assuming that there are available units?
*
can. I've tried biggrin.gif

Having problem with registering as well. Not receiving the TAC at all, my number's correct.
*
are you on maxis? maxis always have problem with TAC. it's telco issue not ASNB

For the SMS-TAC I would think that there's too many variables. Sometimes the telco itself is having issues but as long as there's no notice on the portal, you can safely assume that while one does not get the SMS, there's probably a dozen others who do.

On updating of particulars, just go to any of their agents. I mean once can choose from Maybank, CIMB, RHB, Affin, Alliance, Ambank and even POS to get them to update your details directly into the system if you're far away from the nearest ASNB branch. There's bound to be at least one of those near you so it can't be an excuse really  rclxs0.gif
*
second this. update at agents will be real time. in branch it's done in batches. easier to reach out to nearest agent banks.

Hmm now that u mention it..
Some telco do have some issues recently..
But its on speed only.. Slow loading of webpage.  So its effect on SMS too kah??? hmm.gif hmm.gif

As for updating particulars, yes. Got many agents to do..
But as others said.. Needs 2 weeks to update as need to send to HQ? blink.gif so now u saying can update real time at agent straight to system??  Why got different answers? The staff trolling??!
*
earlier there's the form thing. but now it is supposed to be updated real time at their agents.

I'm putting my money on between 5.5% to 6% given that BNM left the OPR as is. That and the fact that 2017 is the first time in 4 years the KLCI is in +ve territory. I doubt PNB could make enough trading profit in 3 months of this year to cover the -ve returns of KLCI in 2016.
*
smart answer.
If you are a Malay, I believe the response would've sound something like "tak kisahla berapa. tapi kalau turun, aku nak tutup je akaun. rugi je. setiap tahun turun. pelaburan ni dah tak relevan. baik aku labur dekat tempat lain/sendiri. etc etc."

I called to ASNB and seem like it was a new technical issue for them too. I was being told that my money will be transfer back to my bank account within 10 days. So long!!! Another staff from ASNB call me back and ask more details regarding this issue!
*
It is still in Beta, remember? And they never ask nor force you to try it out. You did it willingly. Must accept la. At least they ARE refunding your money, right? And I believe with them calling you back for details means they are taking it seriously and trying hard to give the best to their customers.

Frustrating for me.

Updated my data at ASNB office 2 weeks ago. Told that they would send the signed form to KL for them to update. Strange procedure. But I am living in the 9th class state, Sarawak.

Went to a bank to check whether my data has been updated. YES! My mobile no is in there!

BUT I still cannot register in the Myasnb! Said that I need to update my personal data first! What the hexx!
*
You can go to any of their agent bank branches and check. I suspect they might have accidentally updated your mobile number into the other field. Like home number or something. That's why you cannot see your number in the portal. If you go to agents preferably Maybank or CIMB, it will get updated on the spot.

Agreed. No organization can claim that their internet banking/financial portals are 100% perfect. Even the big boys like M2U or Clicks which are arguably the largest that we have do have their occasional hiccups.

For an organization like PNB who seems stuck in the 80's (the portal is essentially their first non-OTC channel, still no ATM, kiosk, etc2..) I think everyone shouldn't expect too much. I mean god knows how many transactions have since been made via the portal and even some here have made countless transactions totaling 5 figures.

You're probably the 0.1% that suffered the refund problem so besides it being beta and all, gotta give them a break a bit lah.  thumbup.gif
*
True true. No system is perfect. And the portal is not even a month old yet. And I agree with PNB being stuck in the 80%. Gotta give them credit for the effort to catch up with technology. biggrin.gif rclxms.gif

It's only suspended for the funds with year ending 31st March for dividend calculation. Not all funds.

shouldnt this issue be escalated by ASN to FPX instead as they are the one interfacing with FPX? Not sure whether it's only me that have such issues or other investors have similar issues as well.
*
Well, before they can escalate, they have to know about this. Did you report this issue to them? If nobody tell them how would they know?

Like everything else, there r many types of ppl, some want online n some offline n I want both.

they removed the PASSBOOK, not the offline transactions altogether. still can go do OTC transactions (like you would with your BANK accounts). it's not like you HAVE to go online only can do transactions. why such a big fuss?? the old nenek2 don't even have atm card to withdraw from their CASA. still need to isi borang also. same diff?

Better to have BOTH.  Honestly, if you were given a choice you'd gladly forgo the passbook system in favour for the 'online only system' you mean?  Good for you then.  Your wish came true two days ago.
