Yes. Memang need to wait for someone to sell before you can buy? How to know when to buy?
1) keep trying everyday. Sometimes you get lucky
2) monitet this place. Sometimes people here post many units available
3) whenever near school holidays of when in the month if Dec when school is going to open, higher chances to buy as people sell off their units to get caah.

Now, must be wondering so troublesome right?  Kasi you tip sikit. Once a year, you can topup how much you want. Guaranteed can get. How come?
- This once a year event is the day when amanah saham resume for transaction after giving you your payout.
- Lots of people sell their returns that time to get cash.
- You can one shot hentam 5 digit also can get.

About 10+k/month only selling b4 3rd of d month to settle creditcard bills.

I don't think all banks charge you fees for doing balance transfer. Some have 0% fees, 0% interest.
I believed in Gen-X. He already showed it's feasible by using FDs. This is using amanah saham (higher returns than FD). As mentioned by him, before doing a balance transfer, make sure we already have cash ready to pay it off or else stay away from balance transfer.

I actually agree to using this method to earn extra pocket money. After all, is money we use everyday (groceries, petrol, bills) not like we go out of the way (buy expensive item just to do trick which I believed is stupid).

Why pay off early when bank let you postponed payment without penalty? Let your money work in between. This method have been used by

You should have learnt this from Gen-X before he went MIA.

i believe for us, we just kicimai in ASx... alot of big shots with millions, or maybe tens of millions inside also not worried yet

Went to PNB office today to open my account, managed to buy RM100 worth of ASM and AS1M each.
Registered at myasn and managed to buy some more units.
Should have proceeded to register at PNB office last Friday as advised here, as ASW is frozen from 26/8 till next Monday. Will have to go again.

Thank you all for our advise and help. Further questions (I've read until page 40 of this thread, so have not come across the answers). Thank you in advance:

1. Since my money meant for ASx is limited, does it make any difference if I just dump all the money into AS1M and ASM, and forget about opening account for ASW? After all, if I buy ASW, I am left with less money to buy AS1M/ASM.

2. Now that I have an account with PNB for ASM and AS1M, can I go to the agents to try to buy ASW which I haven't bought at all?

3. Between the 3 funds, which is the one you guys are more keen on investing, and why? All I know so far is the different dividend payment dates for the 3 funds.
