recently my parents asked about this...

if my parents now at old age have savings/investment in ASW/ASM, what happened if they passed away?

1) do we need to declare nominations to PNB, similar to EPF?
2) or it is automatic transfer to next-of-kin, i.e. children?
3) what does the children have to do or options, assuming (1) and (2) not available?
*
Can opt to do declaration "Pengistiharan Amanah" at PNB office, then it's automatic transfer to next of kin...with some charges of course.

No automatic transfer to next of kin. Maybe through will, but need to sell off all units and redistribute.

The choice is yours

Hi all,

Do you know how I can check what is the dividend amount that we got for ASW? In the ASNB page, it only states the total (including the recent dividend payout).

Since I am not exactly sure on my exact total prior to the dividend inclusion, I am not able to check the my exact dividend payout for ASW.

Is there anyway we can check on this?

Also, is it true that now we are not using the passbooks anymore and it is 100 % online?

Thanks.

Wait for statement

wanted to know as well as it seems we can only check the past 7 days transactions but not like passbook-style updates.

Weird??
Normally dividend day (yesterday) should able get 5 figure per shot.. But u got only 5k while today should be getting only 5k, but instead u managed to get 5 figures per shot blink.gif

Really cannot brain...
*
It's because yesterday many (ahem-ahem) sharks waiting to snap available units...

Usually by now most already got their units, so less subscription now means easier to get units...

What if your debts % rate is lower than u invest overseas..
I mean foreign investment returns give higher % than your local debts whistling.gif
*
Still a high risk because interest rate may change and you're suddenly stuck with higher debt rate locally...as well as lower return overseas should regional economy impacted.

Should not use debt to leverage, betul tak Ramjade hmm.gif

Sure la. I very conservative only. Until recently only. Move into FSM MY > Singpaore stocks + migrating my FSM port over to SG UT

Reason:
ASNB cannot keep up with rising cost of living + depreciation of RM. Before GST ya la. After GST, your ASNB is giving practically zero return See my signature.

Not huge, but consider a lot on non-ex dividend date kua

QUOTE(kpfun @ Oct 2 2017, 08:22 PM)
It is not unlimited. For banks, max withdraw is RM100k per day.

How on earth u got such into hmm.gif
Been observing the trend quite sone time also I can't really figures it out blush.gif
*
I think ASW, being the oldest one...many old/retired bought and they may need to withdraw since no more income

AS1M and ASM quite new, especially AS1M, therefore most still working (got income, no need to withdraw savings)
