ASG dividend is on March..

Wawasan dividend is paid yearly on 1 Sept.. Where have such thing dividend until year 2020... The fund no maturity date..

Asw2020 is just the name only..

The staff is really cheating u.. Give wrong info especially the wawasan funds..

I suggest u go different bank.. Like affin or Maybank. Withdraw all without thinking...

When ASG payout dividend it's price will be adjusted accordingly, no?

The after the dividend is issued, the price is adjusted accordingly..

Which means you get more units, with the price adjusted lower.

No need to shift funds here and there as all give same results. Yes. If you don't do the switch on the first of the month, you will lose out 1 month of dividend.

To do switching, you need to do over the counter as you can't do online.

Hahaha... You kena conned already. ASG returns average from what you said = 4.714%p.a

A very poor performance. Dividend in variable fund is not important as it's left pocket masuk right pocket. Don't continue get conned by them. Do your switch to fixed price fund ASAP.

better Dispose your ASG units ( ASG-Pendidikan today price RM 0.9986 )
at any ASNB office , no questions asked .
but make sure , you keep least 200 units to earn your
div from April 2017 - Mar 2018 ) .

just for infor, last month on 01 Nov , I have disposed all my ASG - health (RM1.0519 )
, but maintain 200 units , for the sake of earning some bitsytipsy div loh
also , after you redeemed your ASG units , you can request the counter staff there to
shift your fund to ASW, ASM , AS1M or whatever Fixed ASx you have .

well , that's what I did with my disposed ASG on 01 Nov ,
moved to ASW & ASM , still can earn div from there .

hey guys.. i was planning to open asw with kosong unit and try luck online.. question.. will it be under 1 login for all account or there will be each login for each account.. say if u got all 3 account then i will have 3 logins?

no such thing as account with kosong unit. need to get min 100 units first before it will appear in MyASNB. single login but you need to have all 3 account before you can top up online

Yup. Its NAV is adjusted according to dividend rate & also market conditions..

U shall get additional units from it too...

What I know its min 100 units to open up new account.. But one fellow forummer managed to get zero balance account few months back... Later just top up at myasnb portal only..

So I'm guessing in case on case basis.. Meaning depending on staff & branch policies 😊

I had ASB and ASB2 for a while now. Just wondering if it would be beneficial if I open another account if I have not max them both yet? Seems like ASW2020 is the better choice after ASB and ASB2.

I mean staff overlooked it

Last time i was told no unit cannot open account especially if completely never buy any ASx before.

But one CIMB officer was willing to try to open a brand new account for me before checking the unit. According to him, he can hold it in their system first if there's no unit at that time but I have to go back to find him to try for the 1st 100 units. Basically cannot try in other places cause he generated the account number on his side of the system under my IC number

Luckily managed to at least get AS1M then no problem. For ASW and ASM, i just went in and try. Once got unit, the CIMB fella get me to fill up all the forms then done.

But u will only get div for the 200 units, not those already sold.

Yup, I will earn div for my 200 units from April - Mar 2018
and those I redeemed will also earn div from April - Oct 2017,
and will earn div from Nov 2017 onwards from depositing into ASW & ASM

Can someone help me solve my doubt on the calculation?
lets say say on December 2017, my lowest amount is RM100 and I did not do any topup for the next month which is January 2018.

so the interest counted on January 2018 is RM100, or RM100.5

Those already redeemed will not earn dividend from April-Oct 2017.
