Want to know, for Fixed Fund like ASW, ASM & AS1M, their max limit is what?
I knew ASB and ASB 2 are 200k. So how about that 3 funds above?

Never tried post offices, but my experience has been at banks. It was okay. I suppose you could just try whichever is more convenient for you smile.gif

Well this morning I tried going to ASNB branch, managed to open the ASM and AS1M, within 10mins I think.
Again really depends on luck on who serves you.

ASB anywhere also can.. No issues of lazy staff.. unlike others funds open to Malaysian..

personally I would go for Affin bank & Maybank. best service

QUOTE(kachak @ Oct 30 2017, 04:06 PM)
like some people already answer, anywhere also can because it's asb. but I would avoid the post office. go to any agent bank branches or ASNB office nearest.

Thanks all.. Will try with bank first..

Hmm don't think so..
Not easy to rebranding.. Cost involved..
Needs to print new marketing booklets, changes in prospectus etc.

Based on the lowest amount every month, is it right to say that it’s better for me to withdraw tomorrow instead of today?

It depends. Example: if your lowest amount in this month is say, RM10k,on 1/10, and you topped up later in the month to RM20k, you can withdraw RM10k with no change in the amount of dividend you will receive for this month.

you mean to say, dividend is earned on amount that is in the account for a full month ? even short of 1 day will you not entitle for it ?

It is calculated based on the *lowest* amount you have in your account for the month. Example, you have RM10k on 1/10/17 (brought forward from last month).
1. you top up RM10k to increase your holding to RM20k on 2/10 and remain there until next month. Your dividend will still be calculated at RM10k as this is the lowest amount for this month.
2. you didn't do anything until today (31/10) where you withdraw RM5k. Your dividend for this month will be based on RM5k as this is now the lowest amount for the month.
