1st day of the month...is best day to withdraw...and..last oppurtunity to purchase to enjoy dividend for the same month..

if u invest in share market...then u may wait until end of 3rd week of the month...to sell your share and invest in ASBN starting from mid of 4th week..to possible maximize your return...otherwise...any day is best to invest in ASBN..smile.gif

as long as epf dividend above FD...recommended to keep your epf...its your retirement money!...never under-estimate the importance of retirement fund...and to ensure our dependents have immediate cash availability if unforeseen situation happen to us...

QUOTE(kachak @ Nov 16 2017, 09:55 AM)
halo.. halo.. eh can you stop writing myASBN or not.. it's myASNB.. ASNB.. 'A' first and then 'S' and then 'N' and then 'B'.. A.S.N.B not ASBN.. haiyooo since dunno when also you write likedat.. many people write correctly also you still not notice meh? so annoying to see.. do you even know where you're putting your money in? since you can't even spell their name right? may seem like a small matter but later ppl ask u where u buy unit trust? oh from ASBN.. wat is ASBN? never heard one..  bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

1. No different for opening account. But go to bank only if the ASNB branch is too far from ur place..
2. There is no apps to diwnload..its a website portal. In the first page of the portal there is historical return for all funds, bumi and non-bumi.

Good luck

QUOTE(nbafans99 @ Nov 16 2017, 11:11 AM)
Hi,

I'm a non-Bumi and would like to invest in ASNB products. May I know the following steps are correct for a starter?

1. Visit any ASNB branches to open a ASNB account.
Q: Any differences if go through via ASNB agents such as Maybank/CIMB, ie, charges, extra bank account required....

2. Download app - myASNB to purchase ASNB products.
Q: Is there reference of return rate comparison between non-Bumi funds. Something like average return rate for 5 years.

i used to have only ASW2020 like u (opened during launching)..
But later opened other two as advised by ASNB staff to increase chances to get unit (this is before zaman MyASNB)...
With MyASNB nowadays, one or three doesn’t matter much..unless u plan to put really big amount (6 digits)..

On dividend, ASW2020 always lead other two funds..due to more matured fund..

Only advance to hv 3 ASx is 3x dividend...Only if this really matter for u..

QUOTE(MasBoleh! @ Nov 16 2017, 07:39 PM)
So far, I heard people went to Pos office and maybank to open ASNB acc.

I wonder, does anyone here opened an account successfully from alliance bank?

I plan to open asm or as1m.
Still, any advice on this? Better to put all in ASW or opened other 2 and split my funds to all three?

Dividend date:
ASW2020 - 1sept
AS1M - 1 oct
ASM - 1april

If u have rm30,000...and put rm10,000 in each ASx. Let say dividend is 6% for all ASx

1sept..u get RM600 fr ASW
1oct...u get RM600 fr AS1M
1april..u get RM600 fr ASM

But if u put all 30k in ASW, then u get RM1,800 on 1sept every year.

I see. Thank you so much on the opinions. I am still confused on 3x dividends.sweat.gif

I use slightly different strategy...i add into fund which nearest dividend date..as of now ASM (till 1 mac)...then from April onwards till Sept, i split 50-50 for ASW+AS1M, but my first priority always ASW as its much difficult to get and better performance.

Just to share smile.gif

QUOTE(savvyaunty @ Nov 17 2017, 04:00 PM)
for 2017, all 3 funds paid 6% dividend so the yield is basically the same for 2017. I personally split my money equally into 2 portion based on their dividend payout. 50% in ASM and 50% in ASW+AS1M. That way I get roughly same amount of dividend in March and Sept/Oct

Malaysian Q3 GDP increased and Ringgit strengthening...BNM hand must be itchy now to increase OPR/BLR devil.gif

if anyone planning "Take loan to invest ASNB"...just be prepared for the possibility of 0.25% increase in loan interest..

if ASx divided pun naik 0.25%...then no impact...

due to GE14 most probably in Mac/April...i think ASM have potential to get higher dividend hmm.gif

let see how is EPF 2017 dividend first in Feb 2018... unsure.gif

possible statement during 2018 dividend announcement:

ASM (before GE) - the fund have performed exra-ordinary supported by country high-growth... rclxms.gif
AS1M/ASW (after GE) - the fund performed below expectation, due to world economic uncertainty rclxub.gif

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 20 2017, 11:01 AM)
Hmm my bet is on ASM since its "so near" to GE date 😅
Expect some good rate for that funds...

ASW & AS1M is "after" GE.. U know how things done in Bolehland.. After GE, all bad bad up up only 😈😈😴
