TM says more surprises in 2017, and they definitely gonna offer 200Mbps..just pray for the best for you guys

Exactly, it's the works for professional (laying the fiber optic cable). The perfect layout would be one continuous optic cable from the white box on the TM post to the termination socket inside the house. Too many interruptions will affect the optic cable data carrying property. The wisest thing to do now is the prepare a pre-drilled wall hole, a very small one (straw size should suffice) for future fiber optic passage. This hole should be easily be covered till then.

those with 100mbps definitely can go more than that. TM state maximum capability is 100 because for now that's the max speed

Those with FTTH should be eligible. Most standards optic fiber can go 1-2.5 Gbps
