I last time kena 3k++ only by maxis. Lost phone in Saudi, someone used it to call to other countries.
my limit only 1k per month that time.
maxis say not their problem. Kek maxis. After settle the bill, migrate to other service provider. Need the number, or else should not pay the 3k. damn it

QUOTE(acbc @ Jan 16 2017, 06:35 AM) Looks fake. Look at the bill. Why not current charges? Why the 42K is previous balance? Maybe he changed his credit limit down to RM300 AFTER he was charged RM42k in the previous bill. He should share previous bill to clarify

Kalau dia orang tua, faham la. Orang tua mana tau benda macam ni. Tapi yg kena ni consider celik IT. Dah kena, baru bising.
But then those ISP need to do something la. Keep notify user on that. Orang tua pon bukan pandai sgt

QUOTE(zamans98 @ Jan 16 2017, 03:00 PM) Why the fook u need roaming for? U CEO ke? Buy local prepaid. Abis cerita. For people who wants to be contacted while they're abroad, while still have some data usage to Waze, email, WhatsApp. If you're more interested to YouTube and have heavy data usage, then getting a local SIM is preferable, especially nice when you have a dual SIM phone.

QUOTE(boonhan @ Jan 16 2017, 08:44 AM) Prepaid roaming on by default. Later balance habis complain. All postpaid roaming off by default. Unless u request. RM30 VS RM42K

Once you lost your phone especially Kat oversea... Billing by foreign telco will take time to reach your own telco depending how fast you report it lost. Maxis is right to say.. It is not their problem

But at least, those service provider should tell their user, the limit only applicable for the usage in Malaysia. maxis is right legally. I think they are now facing the bad karma for their action to their former customers. May they sink and close shop (probably too much. lol)

Me also buta buta sign just to get the package or plan or both. Blame it on Maxis.. Maybe.. Maybe should follow UMobile... International Roaming / International Internet... All disable by default . But then still some joker complaint at lowyat about UMobile charging for 4K plus pay per use using Internet at Oversea claiming ignorance... As it is obviously he must have ask for data roaming activate earlier. This post has been edited by MakNok: Jan 18 2017, 09:57 AM
