I suffered engine oil leak from the engine itself.

I claim warranty and Honda replace both transmission box and the engine for me.

Could it be related...? The rear main seal is located between the engine and transmission...

Could be. But mine the Honda engineers unable to figure out where it leak from my engine actually.

At first they thought the CVT transmission unit is faulty, so they replace the whole unit of it first.

I drive a car for 3 days and then the leak happen again, sending it back to them.

Why the walk away lock didn't function when we off the engine and leave the car? It only trigger if I press lock and subsequently unlock it? Is this a defect ?

You’re confused between the walk away lock feature that comes with certain models of honda and the safety feature i mentioned on majority of new cars...

These are separate features... i may be wrong, but walk away lock is only available on the Civic but not the Malaysian version of the Jazz...?

The salesman told me this model no equipped with walk away lock. However, when I lock and unlock the car and walk away, the car will autolock itself. If I didn't lock and unlock, the car wouldn't auto lock. Why ?

1) There's walk away auto-lock feature.
2) There's unlock (without opening doors) then re-lock feature.

This car does not have 1).
You triggered 2) thinking it was 1).

Stand nearby and wait 30 seconds ~ 60 seconds. It'll still re-lock if you didn't trigger an Open Door event/condition.

I have 2) but even i open the the door after lock and unlock, it still will auto lock for the car. It'll no aiutolock
of we didn't trigger the lock after off the engine. Why Honda want to do it that way? Why not equipped it with
walk away lock since the function is there? Could we re-program it to have the walk away lock feature?

Are you sure it auto locked after you opened the door once ?
i.e.
Go near the car.
Press Unlock. (Or proximity unlock)
Open the driver door once.
Close the door.
Stay still and do nothing for 2 minutes.
Does it auto lock ? Mine doesn't.
Try it again and verify.

Well, retarded marketing team loves to f*ck consumers around, so I'll say they did it because they THINK it affects feature/spec class segmentation.
It's all a marketing tactic to psycho you into buying a more expensive Civic.

I mean what's the difference between Civic base spec and Jazz high spec ? ~RM350/month for 9 years?
For RM350/month you get to enjoy WALKAWAY AUTO LOCK, nice comfy-ier interior, better NVH, bigger car, bigger boot, bigger engine, more power, more torque, more fuel capacity yadda yadda.
RM350/month ! Just top up abiiiiiiiiit more only ! Logically should go for Civic. Everything better for juuuust RM350/month !!!
Hell if you're on 6 year loan jazz, if you are comfortable with 9 years loan, you can get a Civic for just RM10/month !!! Everything better for RM10/month !!!!!

Don't think I remember anyone trying program it. The module probably is not the same as the ones found in the Fit sold in the US.
You'll have to search around or try reverse engineer it.

Mine if i trigger lock and unlock and subsequently open the door and close the door, it'll autolock for me.

It shouldn't do that.
Put dome light/center roof light to auto then open your door see got light up or not. Very weird leh.
Or car got detect door open or not... oh E spec, not sure show got door open or not.

Mine is E spec 2018. Everything is normal for my car. I just wonder why there don't want to make it autolock after my off engine

I when to Accessory Part shop. Buy back last time SC Use de, Transmission CVT Oil cost me 120 and a Enjin Oil 125.
But i am not sure is this the same CVT oil.
Just ask member is this the rite CVT Auto Oil?!

Hey guys, recently spoke to someone and was told that a 15 inch and 195 width tyres + sport rims combination suits our car better than stock spec V 16 inch rims. (in terms of fuel consumption, acceleration and stability?)

Have zero knowledge in wheels and rims but recently scuffed my stock rims quite badly and been considering to remove these eye sores.

My brother just bought used 2015 H Jazz V ,
found that rear passenger side a bit noisy ; suspect sounds come from boot or cargo cover. Is it normal ?

What kind of noise?
Wind ? Rattle ? Suspension ?

Think rattle is most suitable to describe the noise. suspect also from tyre noise

check the spare tyre compartment. maybe the car-jack or spare tyre not firmly placed.

hi..i'm using honda jazz 2013 ckd..my gearbox was failure before this, but it is on warranty, so Honda replace it 100%. But i want to ask all sifu there, do u hear the sound when u change your gear to reverse? I was ask SA Honda, he say it is normal.
