This one pretty much almost all cars have this..., even 1st gen myvi... it's a safety feature considering a lot of ppl sometimes mistakenly and/or unknowingly unlock their cars, as long as none of the car doors are open, it will lock itself after a short period of inactivity...

You’re confused between the walk away lock feature that comes with certain models of honda and the safety feature i mentioned on majority of new cars...

These are separate features... i may be wrong, but walk away lock is only available on the Civic but not the Malaysian version of the Jazz...?

1) There's walk away auto-lock feature.
2) There's unlock (without opening doors) then re-lock feature.

This car does not have 1).
You triggered 2) thinking it was 1).

Stand nearby and wait 30 seconds ~ 60 seconds. It'll still re-lock if you didn't trigger an Open Door event/condition.

Are you sure it auto locked after you opened the door once ?
i.e.
Go near the car.
Press Unlock. (Or proximity unlock)
Open the driver door once.
Close the door.
Stay still and do nothing for 2 minutes.
Does it auto lock ? Mine doesn't.
Try it again and verify.

For RM350/month you get to enjoy WALKAWAY AUTO LOCK, nice comfy-ier interior, better NVH, bigger car, bigger boot, bigger engine, more power, more torque, more fuel capacity yadda yadda.

Hell if you're on 6 year loan jazz, if you are comfortable with 9 years loan, you can get a Civic for just RM10/month !!! Everything better for RM10/month !!!!!

Don't think I remember anyone trying program it. The module probably is not the same as the ones found in the Fit sold in the US.
You'll have to search around or try reverse engineer it.

It shouldn't do that.
Put dome light/center roof light to auto then open your door see got light up or not. Very weird leh.
Or car got detect door open or not... oh E spec, not sure show got door open or not.
