Is the current jazz considered as outdated? I mean this model has been launched since 2014.

Or any ideas if the next gen jazz will be coming next year?

If you look at Honda Fit / Jazz lineup history. The lineup usually have a pretty long product lifecycle. As this is currently only the 3rd iteration of the lineup and based on the previous 2 generations historical lifecycle. I would say it might be here for around 7 years or so unless they have a new strategy to launch something new.

If based on that data, the current GK chassis was launched somewhere around 2013 and it should get a refresh nearer to 2020 or as late as 2021 when it arrive on our shores.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Fit

I think why the slow refresh of the Jazz is due to a massive following for the model compared to other cars in the same segment like the Honda City. Honda City and Jazz actually shared the same platform but they have slightly differing product lifecycles.

So, next year is quite unlikely and the best way to tell is to see if Japan launches a new fit on their end. If they do, it will take sometime for our Thai or the UK counterpart to follow suit before we might even get the model here locally.

Well, after 1.5 years, replaced my front wipers
As reference for anyone that’s interested;

Wipers are RM 80 from Honda, and they only replace the rubber blades, not including the metal frames

So if you want to replace your wipers outside, do hold on to the original frames I guess?

I’m not keen on replacing my wipers outside with those RM 35 BOSCH from China, the wear is just way to fast. The original wiper lasted me 1 year, and finally replaced as it’s now rainy season

USB format is ExFAT as it is 64GB.
However, it shows device no response when plugged in, but got light

Expecting delivery of V-grade Jazz soon as replacement car for my mum.

What's the recommended tint/solar film. Brand, grade and price?

Don't need to be top of line. Just for a car used 2-3 times a week.

Thanks.

I installed myself, ran & conceal the wire all the way to the 12v port using an adapter or directly to the usb port, choice is yours sir tongue.gif

tempting to buy dashcam and install it by myself, but the usb wiring do hold me off sweat.gif

Maybe you can help me by showing how you conceal the wire all the way to the 12v port, it would be helpful thumbup.gif

well, after id whereabout near or next to the center of the windscreen position to place your cam & you'll embark on your fitting journey sweat.gif

I didn't manage to take any video on this fitting (unlike my D20N tongue.gif ) anyway, is a diy stuff (saving a few dollars) with running the wire right in between the top windscreen and the edging of the roof lining gap via the front passenger side (using some handy plastic angle flat pryer like the pro that I've bought from online or Mr Diy), all the way down the left A-pillar (just slowly gently pry open the pillar cover by bare hands will do or again can just leave it on & poke in the wire against the door side lining rubber especially for those higher spec with A-pillar airbag - You Decide the best!) conceal in side after putting back the cover!

Follow by taking out the glove box to run the wire behind to the side of the center dashboard console & you are done! rclxm9.gif

There is no technicality or science physic chemistry here, but just pour out some time to achieve the objective icon_rolleyes.gif Happy diy!

sounds simple enough, so your dashcam was attached in the middle of windscreen behind the center mirror right?

I have V spec Jazz, and as you said the A-pillar has airbag. Need to try to see which one is the best.

Thank you for the small guide notworthy.gif

mine is placed more to the driver side (can also view the lcd screen!) rather than right behind the center mirror holder tongue.gif for my cam type the angle can be adjusted left-right & up-down, so is considered the best option avail for my wanting

Just took delivery of my V-grade Jazz.

Having trouble getting both my Android phone and my mum's iPhone to pair properly with the HFT system.

Although they both pair and calls can be made and received, I am unable to get the phonebook and call history to be transfered via the Bluetooth. They should be done automatically every time a phone is detected, but I keep getting a 'Transfer Failed' message.

Is this a known issue with the head unit, or is there a way to solve the problem?

Any help is appreciated.

Complain to SA, claim warranty for defective unit if you want to or got lots of time.
Supposed to do X, doesn't do X.

Make sure phonebook not cluttered.
Make sure contact name no unicode characters.
Make sure phone is close to HU screen so that there's no BT data dropping.

Already reported, and as expected, he advise to wait until first service date before they look into it... like not urgent and tak kisah dry.gif

Meanwhile, if anyone else with a Jazz knows the brand and model of the headunit (I suspect some China brand), please let me know. Maybe I can find something on the internet about the issue.

Already not really liking the unit. May have to consider a replacement unit at some point.

Go outside and get 3M Crystaline/crsystaline security
