bro..you seems to based all phones on the processor power. That should not be the case. Like I said before there are a lot of other factors to consider.

Like you keep on bashing over SD650 vs SD625. That is left for another discussions. As for SD435, It is not that bad. I have redmi 3s with SD430 and it is really good for it's price. The good thing about it is the GPU is Adreno 505 which is very respectable. So I would assume an improved version that is SD435 to be better. Sure, it's not going to beat SD650 or SD625 in terms of benchmark but in a daily usage for things like whatsapp and facebook, it works without problem compared to MTK chips.

I am also eyeing on Nokia 5 or Nokia 6. Waiting to see what Xiaomi is giving us with the launch of Redmi 5.

i did a round of upgrades over the weekend. Now I am in latest miui rom 8.2.40 global and patched radon 5.0 to enable quickcharging. So now I can charge at 2400mA. Only problem with radon kernel is that read mode does not work. Other than that it seems to be stable.

Best of all, done all these without losing data. So save me time on re-installing all my stuffs.

yup..i use zcx as well. To make it safe I unroot it first. Then run the OTA. After OTA reboot failed. So I panic and wanted to do a full flash. So I tried to boot into twrp and it did. Then do a reboot and then it works. After that apply the kernel patch and root. Everything running great! This ZCX-TWRP is really good. It can handle OTA updates and also can run root the phone.

the auto brightness never worked for me. So I had it disabled.

Just tested it just now and yeah..still not working properly for me.

ok thanks for the info since not nougat i think i'll skip this update.

except that if you have dark skin like Malay or Indian then the miband 2 will have problem reading your pulse. Not sure if they already fix this with firmware update but last I checked 2 months ago still problem.

what version of firmware you are talking about?

yes..this does happens with cheap phones. When you deplete the battery until it shuts down, there is a risk of the phone unable to turn on. So it is always better not to use the phone until the battery is totally dead. Charge before the phone shuts down.

Mine is still 8.2.4.0. Probably new version not detected due to installation of TWRP. Anyway it is stable and I don't want to upgrade unless it's new Nougat firmware.

Is the miui9 version running Nougat or Oreo?

Mine is having similar issue though I don't really use the power button much.

The fingerprint will automatically power on and unlock the phone. I have a Lock icon in my first page. So I use that to lock the phone.

I agree. The reason xiaomi is not up there is because their camera quality is bad. Take away the variable of the skill of the person taking the picture, whatever it is the quality is bad. Lousy sound quality and shutter lag.

Even their highend phone have bad camera quality. No denying that. So just forget about getting a xiaomi phone if camera is important for you.

I have to admit, my cameratography skill is sux. But I can still tell when a camera is good or bad. Xiaomi is just not there.

I'll stick to MIUI 8.1.xx then. So far no problem using. Too lazy to update cause I rooted the phone and can't use OTA to update.

Just buy from local vendors in Lazada. The difference in price is very little and you don't need to wait for long shipping.

Then just pay someone to change for you. It's better than taking risks yourself. These phone repair people need to make a living too. As long as they don't charge too high, I think it's fine to pay them to change for you.

Sorry for asking but why are you excited about having split screen function on a phone? What are the possible usage that really make your mobile experience great?
