i no idea why my digi edge very slow this few day,
had starting to slow down since monday.
even i tried different phone also same,
and the wired is, my dad's line can get 20kb/s speed as usual,
juz mine cant, keep dc or very slow.

i tried 6230i, 3110c and n80.

How to Take Back 20% of Your Bandwidth From Windows XP
Microsoft reserves 20% of your available bandwidth for its own purposes (suspect for updates and interrogating your machine etc..) Here's how to get it back:

Click Start->Run->type "gpedit.msc" without the "

This opens the group policy editor. Then go to:

Local Computer Policy->Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->Network->QOS Packet Scheduler->Limit Reservable Bandwidth

Double click on Limit Reservable bandwidth. It will say it is not configured, but the truth is under the 'Explain' tab :

"By default, the Packet Scheduler limits the system to 20 percent of the bandwidth of a connection, but you can use this setting to override the default."

I guess that the max u can get.
EDGE isn't 3G nor HSDPA.....

my connection reli got big prob now.
after disable it, my speed get back normal,
and i go youtube wanted watch vids,
it stream till half den wont stream anymore.
now even i disable it or not config, oso not work?

will digi limit my usage? coz i juz finished a movie last week, my 1st bt on digi ever.

no they will not limit you.....

now i'm in Miri and i connected with digi edge...

very satisfied with the speed.....download speed around 20kbps.....

my max connection speed is 115.2 Kbps only. im using nokia 6300.
but if i use on other laptop, speed will be about 236Kbps sad.gif

these few days Digi Edge connection really slowwwwwww....
