Please suggest one to me. Lightweight (~1kg), very portable, longer battery life just for works stuff, browsing and storing photos/videos. I was thinking of buying a macbook but suddenly I'd want to go for a cheaper one. Thanks smile.gif

interested to get a laptop which is good for gaming and also for simulation software...plus point would be light weight...

Hi all,

I am looking for a recommendation.

Screen Size: 13/14 (FHD if available)
CPU: i5 dual core is fine
Storage: 256gb SSD
RAM: 8GB
Graphic card : Intel integrated is fine
Usage: This will be used mainly for work. Heavy use of web-based apps. Need to be reliable and not get in the way of work.
Additional features: backlit keyboard, HDMI port, good battery life.
Budget: RM 4k max

Plan to use it for 3 years minimum, reliability is a key concern.

Thanks!

there are a lot of laptop that can be use to play games and purposely for work or travel... it just depends what u needs and do the most.
and if u saying 1.5k laptop cant do games... u still can use it to play games.. BUT with low resolution setting... if u dont mind... but this case always happen to university students back then, but i think malaysian university student are very rich.... so, i think 2k min is mostly their budget... unless they dont want spend much and just get 1.5k range...

u need to know.. portability is very expensive.. and thats why.. those laptop is much cheaper compare u building a mini rig (ITX form) is much expensive... it is really portable and its really good.. much powerful than laptop. it just that, you will had extra monitor and more socket when using it
