Hello, I was looking to get an new axia (AT) and happen to look at the service maintenance items, is there any thing that I can reject without voiding the warranty?

The spark plug, element S/A Oil Filter and brake fluid is optional? how long interval can these last until next change?

wash filter? are u using the works filter?

Do u guy service the aircond for 30k or 1.5 year?

Perodua quote me Rm157 for it

labour oil change rm80 sound like not normal do outside they charge only 10-20 only

not normal, they over charge you.

each services they do the labor charge is different. the labor charge should be rm40 or below. maybe you can call perodua to check

Only changed engine oil?

I this authorized agent or Perodua itself? Either way you can complain to HQ it this is true a malpractice.

6 months or 10k km cycle.

hmm then it means change battery must also change at perodua dy... since if future any electronic faulty, they can say you didn't use their recommended batteries...

my proton wira alrdy 12 years still not overhaul mechanic say the very powerful i allways chge engine oil on time 

haha.. but.. the warranty part all the while also the same, just that most ppl didn't know or misunderstood.

i think our engine can last very very long without overhaul, as long as regular engine oil change and drive carefully. modern engnie nowadays wasn't like the 70s 80s datsun days that once every few years carbon built up and all that... i rarely heard ppl overhaul their cars anymore

hmm. the engine stall part maybe u need to check with other auto transmission axia.

Changing wheel size out of recommended size specified in manual will sure void warranty. Not only that, it will be the reason for insurance company not to pay compensation in case of accident.

Different wheel size will stress the transmission for sure 

Tint needs not to be dark to block heat from sun. In school we were taught that black absorb heat, remember? 

Not necessarily dark to block IR. Yes, dark tint blocks most IR frequency wavelength from passing through but now heat build-up is on the glass surface where tint is applied. Now, internally the heat is by secondary radiation. Last time I used metallic particle based V-Kool. It blocked the heat well but still worked for my Smart Tag. Now I'm using ceramic based tint. It is not dark as I categorized it because you can still see clearly who is inside car but it blocks even my Smart Tag IR signal. Now I have to wind down my window    but it is just a bit of inconvenience.

Many darker tint films cannot block this much. People may want more privacy by putting tint that is illegal but it only attract policemen 

I see    Price can be anywhere like like other film. I asked one shop that said that they help to clear stock for friend. No brand ceramic film and made in Korea. I think the guy was honest but whether the info he got was true or not is questionable  . It was about RM800 for Axia. Other brand can be about the same class as V-Kool and perhaps others is even more expensive just because it is ceramic (I guess). My conclusion is that even though it is ceramic, the performance between different brand can be different too. This is what manufacturer did not tell honestly, I guess:

Couple of months ago did ask if replace the std horn(1biji) to other type horn (2biji n definitely louder) will void warranty. Anyway last wkend just replace it at a car accessories shop and is plug n play as no wiring being cut whatsoever. Just use the ori horn socket will do the trick to connect the new horn wiring. Is alot of tedious work when it need to remove rhe front bumper to place it where the ori horn was placed. So far satisfied. What make it laugh was when the technician mention axia horn sounded like kapchai horn n this lead me thinkin back when i was driving behind a car which was extremely slow for no reason then i applied horn which driver dont even bother n continue slow n steady
Mayb he thot i riding a kapchai behind him that can overtake anytime.
What u need - a pair of good horn, relay n a fuse.
