The rim colour for spare tyre is black. I know some cars have different diameter for back up tyres, not sure for Axia.

My folks recently got an auto one and were disappointed with the fuel consumption.  A full tank didn't even last 300 km.

How's everyone's fuel consumption?
*
13km per L base on the car indicator. What did you got?

Pumping Ron97 is a waste of money for Axia. Do what ever you like since it's your money.

I use my money to get product to reduce carbon deposits in my engine.

95 have higher energy content, that's a known fact.
What is unknown is the cleaning agent they added in the 97.

Over long period of driving, the engine performance will drop due to carbon deposits that creates early ignition.
The user can either use a cleaning agent or use RON97 to improve performance. Where 97 is unlikely to combust early due to carbon deposits.

I think all fuel brands in Malaysia are using cleaning agent mix with the fuel. I was thinking that maybe that RON97 appears to be more clean because the fuel was burnt properly  laugh.gif
*
97 has less energy than 95, if both have the same volume and burn away 100% of their hydrocarbons. 97 is cleaner because it started with less carbon than 95. smile.gif

How good of the combustion also depends on the engine. Some engine may perform worse upon using non recommended fuel from car manufacturer. If it recommend 85, use 85.

The most i fill is 31 liter.  After the bar start to blink you still can drive another 100km at highway or 50km at city. The Range meter will be -- for the 100km left.

Try take out the nozzle abit then pump until you can see petrol at the hole. Most shell nozzle easy to fill up slowly after the click.
*
You will burn your fuel pump if you do not have enough petrol in your tank.
Why you want to drive your car this way?

My complain on Axia. No gear 1 using G spec (auto).

Outside my house is a T junction. So when I am about to exiting to the main road, sometimes I let my car coast about a meter then press the accelerator hard.

I can't pick up speed, then I realize it actually went to gear 2. Too bad there's no gear 1 on Axia auto, otherwise I will move to this gear at the T junction.

Another technique is using the left leg to press the brake and accelerator with the right, that can increase the torque from stationary but yet to master.

recently I tend to shift gear in order to slow down my car, or use to overtake car. will it actually spoil the transmission?
*
Read the manual.
If you want to pick up speed, shift to 3rd gear.

Be caution when you slow down using gear, do not shift to 2nd gear when your speed is above 40kmph. It's written inside the manual.

To slow down, apply brake to slow down then shift to lower gear. Do this when going down hill.

My car already 1 years and 9 month (about), still able to get 12.6V (from ciggy 12V) every morning before cranking.
Recently I just went to my 1.5 years service, so I have to dismantle my supercap. The feeling of driving can feel a bit different. For example:
With cap, the car alternator will maintain 12.6V during engine cold period after crank. Without cap, the alternator will shoot up to 14.3V then 12.6V after 20 seconds. The alternator will then remain 14.2V for both scenario when engine had warm up.

If I can get more than 3 years for my battery, then the supercap has worth it's value. Anything shorter than that, it means changing battery every 2 years is cheaper.

Good thing is no more refill battery water for you. flex.gif
I did buy aluminium foil from Daiso, those are good to keep the heat away from the car battery.
You can cut into size and wrap around your battery, it's one side foil and the other foam type.
From my research, heat will deteriorate any battery.

If you always park unshaded under the sun or always drive long distance, it should help you.

All our batteries are wet. Maintenance free battery do not need to top up water. biggrin.gif

Performance wise, new battery won't have issue. Almost konk one may not have enough juice to create spark at spark plug, which may cause your car to under perform.

Hmmm. Did they check the alternator to make sure the battery is charge properly when the car is running?

Since yours almost 2 years, so I think it's a high possibility batt die of aging.
Other scenarios could be damage alternator which does not charge your battery, leakage current from battery surface or wiring fault.

In the aging scenario, the battery cannot provide high current surge for the spark plug, so the surge current will be provide by the alternator. Which causes rapid load change and can affect the wheels. Hopefully yours is only batt konk and no other issue.
