Note that ABS may prevent tire locking that can cause car skid out of control but at the same time it also result in longer braking distance  biggrin.gif

training your braking ability is also a good idea tongue.gif

Maybe it is just the spring and clutch pedal friction. Try some silicon spray.

Mine is auto. So I did not know how manual clutch pedal is blush.gif but that is normally what I saw on my other manual car previously smile.gif

Yes, on the pivot point there. Silicon spray very thin. Grease may help except greasy if too much laugh.gif

hope its not removed again.

*update* yup not able to put paultan's link...
here's the article:

Last week, the government announced that it would make electronic stability control (ESC) a compulsory fitment on all new vehicles in Malaysia by June 2018. Perodua has now revealed how its vehicles will be affected by the news.

“We (Perodua) have already introduced the system (ESC) in the Bezza, which was designed for it. For our other current models (Myvi, Alza and Axia), they are not designed to be equipped with it. We can’t merely install (the system) in a model that is not designed for it,” said company president and CEO Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh.

However, Aminar said Perodua welcomed any move to improve safety, and at the same time, will have to look into the development and costs of equipping their vehicles with the safety net.

“At this time, allow us to first discuss the matter with the government because it is currently in the early stages. There are many things that have not been discussed in this regard. Only then can we plan our next steps,” he said.

As current Perodua models (except for the Bezza) are not fitted with ESC, could Perodua be planning to introduce all-new models before the planned implementation of the legislation?

When asked if the carmaker had such plans or any new model launches scheduled for next year, Aminar apologised and said he could not reveal any details. However, he said the company has plans to refresh its (current) models to hit its sales targets, although details on potential all-new models were not given.

Damn it... bangwall.gif Now the new Axia G spec version comes with ABS with EBD & BA.
Is it possible can request P2 team to install for old version G Spec? hmm.gif

This G Spec Axia is really hard to stop the vehicle without this EBD and BA system...
Even through if emergency brake your vehicle, you even press FULL brake.. it's still can't stop the vehicle complete just a short time...

yup. got. especially when idle, shift to gear 1 the moment wanna start rolling he car got cricket sound.. but now if idling, not much of a cricket sound

i think the clutch lever didn't oil up properly inside.

another thing is, i am suspecting could it be the belt pulley not aligned properly ..

I confirm is the lever noise d , I try to push the lever when got the cricket noise and it stop . The only explanation why I got more now , it might be the rubber bush on the cable adjust there wear already , so it got less vibration absorb , . I did take out the cable and apply grease to the hook there already still same , by adjusting the clutch higher the noise lesser , I guess I have to leave it 1st and sound getting more bad only 1 take care of it .

it will cost a lot to install all the new system, and i also don't think its possible to install, might need to replace a lot of things. braking system really is not good.

too late already.. hehe.. don't worry, just enjoy ur current car first, after another 2 years' facelift, maybe you can get 1.3L + ABS + EBD + BA + keyless entry + side mirror sensor + cruise control + remote start + build in potent booster Axia ... wink.gif that time ur axia will be old dy, and u can buy new one liao.

nowadays our car industry is very competitive, u see last time facelift usually its just change the looks, like bumpers, head light, tail lights. nowadays' facelift u even have ENGINE upgrade!!!!!

Guess all manual car having this noise , people post online even subaru wrx sti , vw also having this problem . But most people will say is bearing problem . So when is your next service . Different people different taste , I like Honda jazz so I find this copycat nice . 😅 I wonder how was the new rear end design , since the car had keyless system , it might added handle to open the back hatch , or even can remote open the hatch
