QUOTE(johnngiew @ Dec 31 2016, 02:18 PM) as long as the tyre thread don't reach the indicator. and not too old. Indicator meaning??? Like photo below means still have or not?my friend's hankook used 30k km and can see metal in the tyres already. or you can do as i did, interchange the tyres every service to prolong your tyre lifespan. but the catch is that you will need to replace all the tyres at once instead of 2 a time. cause they will wear out evenly .. QUOTE(jenwww @ Jan 7 2017, 08:35 PM) are you sure your steering fully centered when driving ,most or all axia steering won't go back to fully center when driving , try make a u turn and and accelerate hard and let go your hand it won't go fully center , at least remain 30 degree and need manually turn the steering back to center , during driving also same when turn the steering slightly to left or right , it will stays there , it won't bounce back to the fully center at least it will remain about 20 to 30 degree from center . AgreeMaybe don't 30 degrees that much , about 15 degree la . Not like old car without power steering it bounce back to center real quick and complete center , axia even bounce back to center also slow , after make a u turn I still need spin the steering back to center when I really make a u turn real quick Fix many times also very fast go back to not centred one |

QUOTE(johnngiew @ Jan 10 2017, 10:53 PM) <a href='http://
/2016/12/05/perodua-unable-to-install-esc-on-current-models-except-the-bezza-new-model-due-out-in-2018/' target='_blank'>here's the link For such a small car with such low torque do we need vsc?hope its not removed again. *update* yup not able to put paultan's link... here's the article: Last week, the government announced that it would make electronic stability control (ESC) a compulsory fitment on all new vehicles in Malaysia by June 2018. Perodua has now revealed how its vehicles will be affected by the news. “We (Perodua) have already introduced the system (ESC) in the Bezza, which was designed for it. For our other current models (Myvi, Alza and Axia), they are not designed to be equipped with it. We can’t merely install (the system) in a model that is not designed for it,” said company president and CEO Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh. However, Aminar said Perodua welcomed any move to improve safety, and at the same time, will have to look into the development and costs of equipping their vehicles with the safety net. “At this time, allow us to first discuss the matter with the government because it is currently in the early stages. There are many things that have not been discussed in this regard. Only then can we plan our next steps,” he said. As current Perodua models (except for the Bezza) are not fitted with ESC, could Perodua be planning to introduce all-new models before the planned implementation of the legislation? When asked if the carmaker had such plans or any new model launches scheduled for next year, Aminar apologised and said he could not reveal any details. However, he said the company has plans to refresh its (current) models to hit its sales targets, although details on potential all-new models were not given. reference: paultan. org /2016/12/05/perodua-unable-to-install-esc-on-current-models-except-the-bezza-new-model-due-out-in-2018/ |
