You apply PBB for online transaction or paywave? If paywave can try Affin Visa Signature 3%.

1. Annual Income: RM100K to RM150K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must

5. Interested in CC from: Hoping you guys can help out

6. Others: Spend less than a thousand per month on credit card. Looking for some no frills cash back card.

2. Public quantum master & visa (visa paywave 5% with minimum spending RM 30, master online transaction 5%), total cash back a month can get RM 30 + 30.

3. Affin visa signature, paywave 3% (cash back capped RM 80, no minimum spending).

Dear Sifus sekalian, your recommendation is very much appreciated.

1. Annual Income: RM60k

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Yes or can be waived

3. Card required for: Cashback/ Air miles

4. Existing credit cards (if any): OCBC Cashflo

5. Interested in CC from: Any

6. Other: Will use the card for an one-off purchase of about 9k-13k (diamond ring). Still deciding whether I should go for cashback or convert to air miles based on which one is more worth it.
*
You can use Maybank 2 cards, the AMEX card let you earn 5x treat point during weekdays, if you use on weekends, it will be 5% cash back capped RM 50.

Big thanks, Datolee32!  I guess I'll go for the treat points instead? RM50 isn't that helpful.
*
Definitely treat point for air miles conversion is more worthy compare to RM 50 cash back. RM 13k convert to 65,000 treat points, which is equal to 6,500 EM or 8,125 KF!

Besides Visa Signature card, you can try Public quantum master & visa (visa paywave 5% with minimum spending RM 30, master online transaction 5%), total cash back a month can get RM 30 + 30.

Hope all sifu here can help me out! Thanks!

If petrol, grocery, dining, can try Citibank cash back credit card, RM 10 for each category but your statement amount must be > RM 500. For PTPTN cash back, you can use boost to pay, can use those with online transaction cash back credit card to top up boost.

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Preferably or Waived

3. Card required for: Cash back, or flight benefit (minor)

4. Existing credit cards (if any): CIMB cashback, OCBC 365, OCBC titanium

6. Others: I fly a lot and i use Big Pay a lot. Monthly usage around 1k, mostly on BigPay, Touch n Go, Grocery and Restaurant.

Public Quantum Master is good enough to reload into e-wallet, 5% cash back. For flight benefit, you mean air miles? If yes, you can try Maybank 2 Cards.

QUOTE(GrumpyCat @ Jul 24 2020, 06:31 PM)
Is there any credit cards out there with points collection which is evergreen? (Except Citibank Rewards Card)
*
Point collection? I think the best point to collect is Treat point (Maybank 2 Cards)

It depends on your spending behavior also. SCB JOP/LFC has more attractive cash back compare to Essential.

You can try public quantum 2 cards, its master card for online purchase, while visa card for dining and light shopping (paywave min RM 30). For petrol, if you can use master card to top up to e-wallet, and use e-wallet to spend on petrol. Overseas spending I didn't research Perhaps others sifu can help on this.

If you would like to get the treat point to exchange with cash back, there are a few nice cash back card for your expenses above, public quantum visa 5% cash back capped RM 30 for paywave more than RM 30 transaction, use for your grocery. For online shopping, utilities and e-wallet, public quantum master, also 5% cash back capped RM 30. For petrol, just use your e-wallet to pay, sometimes you can get 10% cash back in the wallet during promoton.
