Hi, can kindly share more what you mean by the above?
I don't quite get it...
Thank you!

Some banks will not take conversion rate for SGD salary.
For e.g., one earns SGD 5k will only be treated as 60k per annum salary in Malaysia, that means the bank goes by 1:1.
Though this person should be earning SGD 5k *3 = approximately RM 15k.

Anyone here Maybank agent??

I want apply Maybank 2 Gold Cards. I have an existing HP car with Maybank. Repayment very sexy and beautiful. Only issue is my shitty CCRIS. But I'm doing monthly repayments through Direct Debit.

Got any freegifts??
*
If shitty CCRIS, it will not be approved... Guess you will need to go through FD option.

nowadays every bank so strict on CCRIS part especially PTPTN. The only way is can just wait until your CCRIS become nice back.
*
Nice also won't get. laugh.gif I already prepaid 18 months and my new applications still not approved. laugh.gif Luckily I have a lot of existing cards, gotta wait till October (1 year since my PTPTN adjustment) if that will help.

Yes, I also tried Quantum before putting in application for my PBB VS but unfortunately that was rejected too. doh.gif

Haha... depend on some bank. my CCRIS record also haven't passed for 12 mths, like only up to 10 months back to good record. so still some card approved, some rejected. Really don't know assessment of bank.
*
Luckily I don't have any cards that I wanted now except for VS but knowing PBB, they even rejected me when my CCRIS was good two years ago... doh.gif

I will get Ambank WMC mainly for PPL.

At least I got hope for them to approve.

PBB forget it la.... Told me to put 25k for Quantum via FD to get.

Told them to enjoy Raya and left the branch  biggrin.gif
*
Though I suggested people to use FD to apply cards but I'll not do that for myself. smile.gif
AmBank WMC/VI is coming soon, end of this year or early next year with EA form should be no issue.

Hi looking for advice:
1. Annual Income: RM35-40k range

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: free annual or with limited swipes to waive

3. Card required for:  1st priority Petrol rebate

Thank you
*
Apart from above, can also consider Maybank Ikhwan Visa Petronas. 8% cash back for Petronas expenses on Saturdays and Sundays. Max cap at RM 50 cash back.

Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

Card required for: Cash back/rebate

Existing credit cards (if any): Maybank 2 Gold cards (Visa, AMEX) & Maybank Ikhwan Petronas

Others: Need substitute cards that could give me cashback/rebate for any transactions on weekdays and also substitute cards for M2 Gold AMEX card. My existing cards all have benefit on weekends only. So, looking for the same benefit cards but can be used on weekdays as well if any.

Please follow the front page template and fill in accordingly. Others may advise better in that way.

Since you didn't state your current salary and cash back categories. As a start, apply Public Bank Visa Signature that covers cash back for groceries, dining and online, AF can be waived with 12x use in a year.

You can pay PTPTN's monthly repayment with the AmEx card from M2Cards.
PTPTN website accepts AmEx card and make sure you pay on weekends to get 5% cash back.

if mbb2 cards + quantum 2 cards = 4 cards.. omg.. i try to reduce it..

anyway after looking around, mbb2cards + cimb like a better choice for me since both annual fees waive for life,
if the UOB do not waive annual fee. the cs said need to wait 2 business day to get the sms.. sad !
*
It depends on your usage. I don't mind more cards to maximize my benefits, I have 15 cards now but I don't bring all out.
In my wallet, I only store 7 cards.

thanks for your advice again...  biggrin.gif  rclxms.gif

Surprisingly most of my cards are free AF, waived with 12x swipes a year or I know the banks give easy AF waiver.
Those with AF, I will use one year and cancel later. These are usually not so important cards for me. biggrin.gif
