The iPhone will most definitely hit US stores come June. Apple even delayed the release of Leopard to October, which I believe is to facilitate the iPhone's release. There's already talk of limited units being produced in time for the June release, so the chances of it being available in Malaysia is highly unlikely.

It's not a question of proof. It's a matter of logic.

The iPhone is as yet an unreleased product. From a manufacturer (Apple) that has never ventured into this market (mobile phones). Even in the US, the final details of what constitutes the business plan of the  iPhone is unknown other than the carrier (Cingular) and that it WILL be tied to a service contract. How long, the pricing and terms of that contract are UNKNOWN.

Therfore: How in the world could anyone logically know what the business plan, particularly something as elusive as pricing, would be in the tiny market known as Malaysia?

As an example; take another US product: The Treo 680. It took almost 6 months for that product to make it here. And nobody knew the eventual pricing until about a month before it hit the shelves.

i dont know why u keep on saying the details are yet to be known. it was said 1 or 2 months ago that it will cost $500 and $600 plus a 2 year contract.

You really are teh gay for not being bothered to check any sources before splurting crap.

Word from the wise: learn to differentiate "insider info" from "bullshit".

(here's a hint: this is not insider info...)

yeah? based on your previous posts, you cant even gather public info.. so why dont you stop telling others how to "defferentiate" leaks from bulshit cuz ure not so far from the latter

How much is the actual price? I will buy one because it is extremely stylish but it should be very expensive.

It is rather behind in terms of technology by the time it gets here (est Q1 2008).
I mean, come on, a 2 Megapixel camera? and only one in the front?
Other features it lacks would be an extra camera for video conferencing, and even GPS navigation.

I know, I know, not everybody has a use for all the extra features in most 3G phones today, but if I'm going to plonk down RM2000~3000 on a cellphone, I'd expect that it has everything plus a swiss army knife installed.

When the iPhone hits the market, only time and consumer will tell if Functionality + Ease of Use >> Hefty Price + Lack of Extra Features.

Just my 2cents worth.
