You get a few different sizes of the ear tips. What I suggest is try all of them until you find the one that gives you the best fit. (aka best sound isolation)

However, you might wanna sacrifice some isolation for comfort because tight fittings in the ears gets my giddy and nauseas...

Heya yuheng,

Have been listening to the Mylar3 that I got from you and I have to say I am very impressed. I'm a noob so don't know how to describe what's so great about this IEM but I know I can hear details that I never noticed before using the Sennheiser PX100 and the sound is really nice.

So far have only gone thru around 6 hours of burn-in and will be doing more to see how the sound develops  smile.gif

Btw, here's a noob question.. how do I know I have the IEM properly fitted when I use it? I've not tried the different earbud sizes bundled with the Mylar3, the one it comes with I can wear although it's a little difficult to get a proper seal. And I don't know whether it's because I'm not putting it in properly or I need to use a smaller one.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!  notworthy.gif

Well, today I changed from medium to small and it is now much easier to wear. No need to struggle to fit in properly and get a good seal biggrin.gif

I feel the seal is the same whether I use the medium or small tip, but for some strange reason it almost feels like the sound is a little better when using the medium tip. Maybe it's just my imagination tongue.gif

I see. So is there a way for me to get better sound isolation but not have to struggle to stuff the IEM into my ears? Anything in between the small and medium tips?

I think it will have to be a compromise at this time. I'll just stick with the small size since the seal is still good and it's comfortable.

Enjoy good SQ with good comfort instead of great SQ but sore ears! laugh.gif

Added on June 22, 2007, 7:55 amSay, what tracks do you usually play to test the SQ?

Is there like a specific list of tracks that people use to compare?

We will try to distribute to other retail places, but I can confirm that the source will still be us, and confirm that the price is lowest here.

why when i go into thread that featuring phones above rm80 always have words like "burn in" "amps" and other audi-jargon but those below 80, almost none..

and strange though...
the m3 im going to buy is pricier than my funtwist dchord 240 [rm150]
