Strange though. I can see the current balance which is higher from the 25% deposit split. But available balance is the minimum amount ie rm100 which was deposited to open this primewin SA account. The system doesn’t seem to allow withdrawal/transfer out beyond the rm100 for now.

Went to counter and ask, they say cannot transfer out/withdraw . Must maintain that 25:75 split ratio…

Went in RHB online, it show 3.85 for 6 months but unable to click next after selecting fpx bank. RHB online cacat?

Anyone seen the latest UOB promo for the so called wealth and privileged customers? They don't seem to understand that making things so complicating is a major turn-off

I think banks have a lot of money now. Requested to get a better rate for 1mil FD, for 1 year duration, but they only offering me up to 6months duration, don't want me to lock the money for a year. I thought they loved customers to put in the money as long duration as possible?

Btw, this Maybank, been having issues for their online FD system for 2 months+ now, randomly having this "our service is not available this time", hey Maybank, hire better programmers  and security staff la, diuuuuuuu!

So now best rate is still BI, MBSB and AMbank? The rest seems cannot make it. I got money to put in next week, but seems everywhere all below 4.2%

some bug with RHB FD...
today mature date but interest not credit and i make a call they say tomorrow only interest will be credited
so i cannot manually withdraw if i do then i lost all the previous interest... anyone have RHB FD maturing today?

You could be right. Banks are more keen to get us to take their debit cards, and earn some fees annually.

Anyway, will go ask them when I pass by the branch.

I withdraw the FD when on the maturity date. The message is just misleading you. We can get full interest if withdraw on the maturity day. I just did it on last Friday and Sunday. NO issue.

Usually no problems one for RHB. But sometimes I do run into this problem. HLB on the other hand, always like this. I just don't want to take the risk  of losing the whole interest, so wait for extra day if the message pop up. Even DBS Singapore also give me message can't withdraw on same day. Wait an extra day as usual

hahaha. No worries. I have one FD with Affin maturing in 2024, and don't need to use Affin Secure approval. Will consider opening basic savings account if their FD rates are good enough again in future

I am thinking of open a public bank account, but before that I found that public bank online banking website require at least Google Chrome 109/Microsoft Edge 109/Mozilla Firefox 109/Opera 94, my pc browser does not meet the requirement, I just want to know that anyone able to access public bank online banking using browser below the requirement?

someone just triggered me about foreign FD... anyone here got comments about foreign FD? since put in USD so nice right...easily more than 5%...can consider leh...
