Yes, sign OTC also. Both branches that I frequent have the same procedure. One of them don't even have a side counter 

placed FD at BI yesterday, overall took me less than 30min..

I've FD matured today, but, nobody call me to remind, guess the amount is not big enough, yesterday i also asked the staff if the 4% must be fresh fund, he said yes, so, i just withdraw my FD today online n see next week if wan to go BI again only transfer back as "fresh fund"...

KL procedure > get number urself at kiosk > go to counter > fill up form n verified thumb print (less than 5 min) > sit aside wait for another counter (should be manager level) to call me to collect cert > wait about 15 min n go to next counter staff to sign digitally n physically to collect cert (less than 5 min), all done.

Got a 12m fd at bi, made on 7-7-23 n matured on 8-7-24. 7-7-24 was sunday n at the same time muharram so the maturity date fell on 8-7-24 (?). But 8-7-24 was a replacement public holiday, so only today I could go to the bank, hoping to renew the fd at the 4% promo rate n with start date on 8-7-24. But was told that they could only break the fd which had been renewed on 8-7-24 at board rate n start a new one today. I argued with them on the starting date as it was public holiday yesterday but to no avail so I lost a day of interest. Don't understand how their system work..

Never thought of me going to bank muamalat for FD but honestly bravo to them.

Very professional and very friendly. I rate them above my expectations and here I would say sorry to bank islam. U guys are slacking behind in term of services.

The answer is YES and it's by choice u can choose when u do placement. Their friendly staff(s) will explain and ask on each and every step along the process.

Yes, btw their online banking site....cant even see ur fd amount..... only can see ur savings acc amount..... oh dear muamalat..... r ur digital banking team stuck in dinosaur era??????

just wanted to share. starting september, the 12-month 4% rate will no longer be available via branches. however it will still be available via the Be U app, until 31/12 (or once we hit allocated cap, kinda like GX)

I have bank islam FD and saving acct. But BeU always stuck at ID verification. Tried 3 times over a month dy.

Customer service replied email like no reply haha.

thanks for the update.... but i just wonder.... wat do these banks think when planning their FD rates promo... everyone knows the best rates is 4.1% at muamalat bank.... so faster go rush to Muamalat bank guys....

just made placements 12m 4% at Be U....
one thing i noticed is the app has no time out to auto sign out the account.
the app with login status and place in background, after nearly 30mins using other apps, and open back the Be U app from background app, i still can check my savings/term deposit and every things else.

ouch. can you help to log a ticket on this via the app (if you haven't already)?

On top of that, got so many credit cards from different banks with different statement dates.   

So far, all other banks waived. Only Bank Islam kedekut sial.
