Ran into a hitch today when I went to Ambank to uplift my Bundled FD with savings account.

I went to another branch thinking that with across-branch banking, everything could be done immediately. Not so.

The FD can be withdrawn immediately at any branch, but immediate upliftment of the hold on the amount in the savings account can only be done at the branch where the FD was originally placed (manual override). Otherwise, the hold will only be released by the system during the system runs overnight, and available for withdrawal the next day.

Can share 4.75% next door is which bank?

Muamalat cannot call branch, all handled by one call centre number. Call centre staff are not that well-versed. Anyone got direct contact number for PJ Jaya One Branch, can please share? Thanks

If still maintain the Truesaver account (min RM20), will get the October bonus interest on 24th November. Or if worthwhile, maintain until December for November bonus as well. Bonus interest is independent of FD placement.

Is it an actual FD Receipt, or what banks term as Advice of Deposit?

Did you opt for monthly interest payment? Without internet banking, it is more cumbersome to withdraw the monthly interest.
