Need special approval? They say need 2 week’s turnaround to be considered fresh fund…. What la. Never encountered such with other bank. Transfer out and back no issues.

The branch manager in puchong say cannot la, Islamic terms la, then I told them I come back 2 weeks she actually say cannot because got record. Because not fresh fund bla bla

I’m shock beyond words. For principal sake I felt like uplift and go to another branch.

What the heck. 😅

Damn hopeless this particular branch manager of Bank Islam Puchong Kinrara. I called up their main branch Jalan Perak and USJ. They all say no problem and can uplift and re issue new FD terms at 4.5%.

They even offer me to uplift the FD from the puchong branch.

So it’s only logical I obliged with their courteous offering 😅

This branch manager even try to tell me you are not right and not fair to the bank because we gave you the profit and hence I can’t do it. Even if I uplift and come back because system will block and this Islamic banking following syariah rules. And say want fresh funds etc. I told them you can’t denote and confirm if my money is fresh. What if I transfer same amount from another bank while I uplift etc etc.

I’m totally lost for words to hear that from a branch manager or supervisor.

But BIMB seriously needs to buck up. The amount of paper and doc to be signed and process is horrendous. Every time.

MBSB is still good and fast. If BIMB given anything less than 4.25%, I rather go somewhere else even at 4.1%….

Ok la. Don’t argue with money … I stay on as long as 0.25% higher 👅
