Opening SA is fast wor. half an hour or so. But i have problem transfer from my RHB bank and forgot the password to the other bank. so can't transfer. The CS also said Maybank cannot do transfer for new account, sincee i have no money in Maybank now, didn't try.

As for questions they asked, actually not that bad. CS helps me fill up. Affin is the worst. Like need to fill 10 pages of NDA. Bank Islam way better than Affin. I am going to close my Affin account once my FDs there matured, unless got super promotion.

If less than 1 month, still ok kua if premature uplift from MBSB ti BIMB.... smile.gif

Had to do the same for one UOB FD ... 3 weeks in... uplift to BI last week.. low % for that one from UOB. Doing 6 months for now

Or you can word it in such way all bank acct etc goes to your beneficiary.. only if you have single beneficiary, so any acct changes or new bank, all covered... at least that what rockwill advised....

Luckily so far my experience with BI is very smooth and fast. No crowd.

Open SA n FD in about half an hour. Other bank FD all OTC... have not done eFD. A bit of drive but generally ok parking

Taking advantage of KL holiday .. went to MBSB to do FD. Darn… check cannot clear on same day because BNM off.

Have to do multiple online transfer on the spot with different acct back to MBSB due to the daily limit … 😅

And BOE U.K. just raised interest to 4%. Need to check their term deposit on what the 12M rate. Hopefully goes above 5% and if GBP dropped, good for those that need to expensed in U.K. like kids tuition….
