Mind to share whether it is in 2 transaction or whole lump sum figure?

And when it is transferred? early in the morning, or need to wait until business hour?

make sure you follow EXACTLY the instructions in bold
Step 6: To enjoy higher rates, select ‘2, 4 or 6 months’ as your term, enter RM10,000 or more and select ‘Credit to account’ as your profit payment mode
can't be uplifted on the same day
the minimum placement has been increased too
*
Just make placement in MBB e-FD. it works.

Thanks

I believe almost everyone who browse this forum is aware of that, and there's already been numerous posts asking and clarifying the difference.

And TIA rates have been mentioned often alongside FD rates.
HLB right? Yeah, not sure what's going on but for some reason 6 months has the highest rate.

HLB unit trust+ FD combo.

Noted: Unit trust commission will offset gain from FD interest.

yes. I thought I have instructed the bank webpage to credit both principal and interest into my saving upon expiry.

Did you choose the auto renew option as "No" when doing placement?

HLB has 3 option
Autorenew as "Yes' has 2 option
a. Auto renew principal + Interest = Lump sum will be renew but interest will be board rate when auto renew.
b. Auto renew principal + Interest credited to Casa = Principal will be renew with board rate while interest is credited into Casa

c. Auto renew as 'NO" = Principal and interest should be credited into Casa on maturity.

I thought I have selected c as my option.

But never mind, small issue.

I have quite a sizeable sum. Want to place in FD for no less than 12 months. Which bank offers the best FD interest rate now?
*
Can check back this thread discussion last few pages…Alliance Bank, RHB bank, Affin Bank, UOB, Public bank etc.

All the above offer 4.X% for 12 m FD promotion
