QUOTE(btfan @ Apr 14 2025, 07:43 PM) Thanks for the info. 1. Currently Be U max transfer limit is 50k/ day (align with DuitNow Transfer limit)If after the maturity of the TD and the amount is credit back to the Qard open through the app, can you still go to Bank Islam branches to withdraw or to make an IBG transfer to another bank? Or everything need to transact through the Be U app? Wondering for those with bigger amounts how do they transfer it out in case no more promo rate. Would be difficult to just do online transfer of RM50k/day. Even if it's the PIDM limit, you still need to do 5 days in a row and then another 5 days in row if it needs fresh funds. 2. Unfortunately, Be U customer cant go to Bank Islam branch to withdraw money over the counter. Be U, for now at least, is a strictly digital bank proposition. 3. Yes, customer will require multiple days to withdraw more than 50k This post has been edited by ikanez: Apr 15 2025, 12:46 AM btfan liked this post

QUOTE(ericlaiys @ May 18 2025, 12:35 AM) the contract structure for QSA currently prevents us from promising profit, hence any profit giving would be discretionary.we've recently introduced al awfar as well within Be U, but this one is more on chances to win big prizes (got multiple category - https://www.bankislam.com/personal-banking/...ents/al-awfar/). but yeah, still no profits. our initial angle with savings account is more about encouraging people to have better ways at managing their savings (via Nest) and daily finances (via Budgeting). for long term profit rates - that where our TDT comes in. profit rates or some form of returns tied to balances in savings is something that we're still cooking. QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 10 2025, 03:33 PM) Raised a query, and kudos to the team for calling me back on this issue. It's because I don't have an SA in Be U, so I have to go through this process every time. Additionally, once you attempt to place an FD, you cannot abandon it halfway, as it will become stuck and unable to view other placed FDs. This needs their team to cancel it on the backend. They said they will provide feedback to the team for future enhancement. sorry for the late response. yeah - your experience is currently is legit bug at our end and is inside our backlog. appreciate you sharing the info (the ones you got from our customer support) with the group |

QUOTE(fartbrat @ Jun 12 2025, 03:10 PM) My fd at BI is due soon, but i might not be in Malaysia for a while. Does anyone know if the bank side allows renewing OTP (over the phone) rather than OTC for their latest promo XD alternatively can maybe create new FD using Be U by Bank Islam? whole journey is doable via app (and yes, you can get the promo)Edit: Or visiting the branch two weeks before due date for placement |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 26 2025, 02:05 PM) Nice. Currently Be U app can only accept applications from Malaysians. For foreign nationals, he/she may proceed to the nearest BIMB branch. Can I ask if foreigners also can apply? My foreign colleagues who are working in Malaysia (with work permit, earning MYR) are also interested. |

QUOTE(bbgoat @ Jun 26 2025, 08:20 PM) The extension only for BeU ? Bank Islam website still show 30/6/2025. ought to be legit for BIMB branches as well. i think it's just some delays at their (the team that manages the website) end.https://www.bankislam.com/campaigns/tdt-advance/ |
