QUOTE(paramdav @ Jul 1 2020, 10:56 PM) Not attractive as have to place 30% in CASA. The effective rates range from 2.39% to 2.89% depending on the type of CASA and whether you are a normal or priority customer.

QUOTE(Kyan0411 @ Jul 2 2020, 01:50 PM) HLB 2.70% OTC is for 7 months not 3 months. Strange as the RM told me it is for 3 months. HLB promotion is mainly short term now. Everybody is waiting for the MPC meeting next week.

It depends on what type of account you opened.
If you don't want any fees to be charged, open a Basic Savings account with debit card but limited withdrawal through ATM; i.e. free 4 times withdrawal per month. This BSA with no fees is a product mandated by BNM. Most banks will not tell they have it until you insist you want it.
The banks will normally tell you that they have BSA with debit card with unlimited withdrawal, which will cost normally rm8 to rm12 per year. The fees is the banks' income.

QUOTE(Thunder_Bolt @ Mar 10 2021, 09:44 AM) Anyone here using MBB fixed deposit online? It seems like the 'manage' and 'uplift' functions always showing service unavailable which is frustrating, does anyone know if there is a fixed time of the day that allows customer to perform the 'manage' and 'uplift' features online? MBB FD rates is much lower than the rest of banks. I haven't stop placing FDs in MBB for years.
