That is AffinSecure Registration & Deregistration right?
His problem is that AffinSecure at his smartphone is not being triggered to input the challenge (your PIN).

Is that promotional rate? I don't see it on their website  hmm.gif
*
It's a renewal rate for existing customer.
It could be a substantial amount or premiere/private banking level customer relationship offer.

I feel BNM will cut rates, as slashing rates with give SME breathing room on their debts. retail FD customers are not the consideration here.
*
It's definitely a cut.
Just a matter of 25 or 50 basis points.

Last minute just managed to place one eFD with AM Bank at 3.5% for 1 year
*
There're several eFD campaign expiring by midnight tick.

1. AmBank 3.5% 6m/12m
2. Affin Bank 3.45% 3m
3. PB 3.15% 4m
4. HL 3.1% (Islamic)/3% (Conventional) 3m
5. CIMB 2.95% 3m/3% 6m/12m

Still ongoing:

1. RHB 3.3% 6m

I would love to have your optimism.

I would already cry tears of happiness if the cut is only 0.25 next week
*
We should do a poll in here for OPR decision next week:

A. 50 basis point cut
B. 25 basis point cut
C. No change
D. 25 basis point increase

I'm for A. rclxms.gif

hopefully this is the correct interpretation as technically this is still under MCO and the AM Bank announcement clearly says no account opening during MCO
*
I believe some did open new account at AmBank last week even though under MCO.

Anyhow, it's conditional MCO as long as businesses, premises and individual adhere to high standard of social distance and personal hygiene, it is allowed to be operational.

Branch could be operating a full business hours but efficiency wise could drop to half as they may practice rotational shifts for staffs to reduce the crowd in the premise.

FD pro,

So now still RHB 6m 3.3% eFD still the highest ? Any other eFD close to it or 12 mth one ?

Today terminated MBB GIAi, thinking to beat the OPR drop if it happens next week. Forgot that AmBank 3.5% just ended.  sad.gif
*
The FD pro has been MIA since MCO.
I'm just tracking existing eFD deals that I'm aware of.

Maybe you can consider the step up one from Alliance Bank:

The Alliance EIR should be 3.5%. I am now considering this one vs OCBC 10 mth 3.25%.

Definitely, the one who made a lengthy thesis-long explanation including IBD etc.
