since tmr is a rare chance for me to go to a bank when it's open, which bank should i go to open a basic savings account for eFD? I know it's not the best rates all the time but in general which is the best bank acc to open which always has good rate eFD is it HLB?

Alrite, I have another FD auto renewed at 4.25% 6 mths at MBSB today.

Also received a bunch of letters for MBSB ( they love to send physical letters...I haven't received so many letters from any other banks), confirming my FD auto renewed last month 6 mths at 4%, the promo rate then.

HL 3 months got 3.99%

Is it now official that the self contribution is increased to 100K?  I put additional 15K i.e. 15K above the 60K in May and it was refunded to me.
