No precise number yet, but in Japan the Luna Edition seems to sold more than 63,000 units d in just 1 week. Article as below:


"Following Media Create’s charts released on wednesday, today the market statistics firm released its weekly analysis related to the situation on the Japanese market between November 28th and December 4th.

This time around, they provided additional color about the performance of the game and of the associated console, the limited edition PS4 “Luna Edition.”

First of all, we learn that while the game sold a total of 690, 471 copies on PS4 and 3,791 on Xbox One on the local market, this represents only 64.63% of the initial shipment, with approximately 300,000 copies remaining on the shelves by the end of the week. That said, since the publisher announced its post-launch update plans and new upcoming content, Media Create expects it to influence future sale trends, including the second-hand market.

On the other hand, of the 110,318 standard PS4 units sold last week on the Japanese market, a whopping 63,000 were Luna editions with Final Fantasy XV. That’s over half of the whole PS4 sales, even if you count the 8,032 PS4 Pro sold in the same period."

Haha unfortunaltely, doesn't seems so. It's an item that majority of the people in the world who will want and willing to pay for this. The developer will gain more sales revenues by mass producing than limiting to only certain quantities. Will be a waste to produce only 2000 units and there is est 2 mil+ people or more in the world who really willing to pay good money for this FF edition.

Nnevertheless, its still worth it to get one bro. If you are a FF fan. Even Ni No Kuni PS3 that was mass produced, now below 1k now no one is selling. (unless you meet a waterfish) Will be an vintage item over time.
