ohh.. stanley.. ic..

well.. ALOT sure claim its accident free this n tat. but u can only believe 40% of it until u really check it out. body kits , those exterior stuff can be replace no worries.
worry on the chassis n engine. make sure not half cut lo, else sendiri susah. engine wise.. check in n out.. wat spark plugs he using n all. did he replace old stuff for u, n put the better parts from his car to other of his frens car b4 he selling it out.

alot to check. suspensions.
the chamber, alot wei,,

recon u bring it to a work shop and check..

our eyes can only check few stuff. u need a REAL MECH to identify everything

QUOTE(Jackie Leong @ Mar 28 2007, 04:34 PM)
original manufacturer of the headlamps and taillamps is Stanley.. so if you see those wordings, it's original wink.gif

thanks for the tips, i'll be sure to check on it.. the guy claims 100% accident free, maintained by his father, a mechanic.. the bodykits ain't much of a concern la.. but headlamps, taillamps.. fitting of bodyparts and most of all, the chassis and engine is in good working condition.. smile.gif

Not necessarily, it varies. all our b16a's have different fuel consumption readings.

Added on March 28, 2007, 3:44 pm

B18CR halfcut price for RM10K is considered very cheap.

Ive told u before what engine kosong means lol..

Ya many things indeed do come into consideration, but when u beat a City at its own game (low fuel consumption) then that is a miracle.

ermm....that's why i posted here coz i couldn't lock my steering. however, the steering was already quite stiff and hard to turn once my engine is turned off.

anyways, i already called the sales guy and he said the new Civics do not have steering locks...only gear locks.  blink.gif  hmm.gif

I just sent my car to my mechanic to clean the throttle. But after that the rpm not stable. At nuetral gear, when rev the engine, the rpm will drop and stuck at around 1k rpm above then only drop until idle. Then I sent again to mechanic to tune it, now its abit better but still stuck at a certain rpm then drop to normal idle, which is below 1k rpm.

Anyone knows what's the problem to this? hmm.gif

Wah so cheap? Where is this halfcut selling?

Usually B16B halfcut around this price.

I have a feeling it is moon*'s brand of engine oil contributing to the good fuel consumption.

Halfcuts are indeed around those prices as mentioned, else u can opt for engine kosong like what i will plan to do in the future.
*
bro,
easy for you cause you're already B series wiring whereby he's not ... engine kosong get the black top (GSR model) and replace with B16B piston and cam .. guarantee you'll feel the difference .... icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for the tips Chris. So what you are saying is get the normal B18C blacktop engine and then put in B16B cam and piston? Not B18cr cam and piston?

Fooyoh someone going genting, i want also tongue.gif

You facing the same problem with my car also but not Honda Civic is the old toyota when idle it below 1k rpm >.< ! That day more worst when idle right it will stall when send to the mech the mech said that Cabrator spoiled changed no stall when idle or stop car but the rpm cannot tune it back to normal like last time and now the car become low power already will jerk quite alot of time sad.gif

CTR cam have a higher lift compare to ITR and the piston dome is also higher ... you can always check with your mech ... do you know that there's some B16A stock comes with a 1.9 stroker intact .... so don't play play nanti kena kaw kaw nod.gif

menglembu hmm.gif .....RM10K .... which is a good deal .. have a look at the H/C first, check wether the steering, dashboard, gear knob and some minor things which we neglect on checking and regret later when realise doh.gif
you might want to consider searching for B16A that comes with goodies which might cost you RM8-9K excluding the installation but it's not easy to get .. biggrin.gif

booked mine just b4 CNY. Actually i wasn't suppose to receive my car yet (according to the sales dude, i had to wait until early or mid April), but some other buyer had Nighthawk Black as his second choice colour and one was available, but he changed his mind and insisted on his primary colour choice (bronze). My primary choice was silver and second choice was black.

The rest was history. smile.gif

lol...the SC i bought my car from sold 2 Limited Edition Civic Mugens already (out of the 90 units available nationwide. all sold out now though), but the sales dude said it was not worth the money. i already got my Civic fitted with a Mugen bodykit (same material as ori, imported from Japan but not ori Mugen, more expensive than other kits i've checked out but cheaper than the real deal) and it looks exactly the same as the limited edition (except for the rims, body colour and the special plate on the dashboard)...and it only cost less than a quarter of the price of the ori one.

pick-up on the 2.0s is amazing, but not as amazing as my old B16A machine. the sequential shift mode can never replace good old manual shifting with the clutch. laugh.gif

Is it? Then I suspect they put alot of grey gasket gum and it actually protruded and kinda block the T/B intake. Why must reset ECU? If I ask them just repaste the grey stuff again will it solve the problem? How to reset ECU?
