eh.. what is the civic's fuel tank capacity?
that's some good mileage.. last time my former civic only managed about 320km MAX on the sohc vtec engine..

hehe yea.. tats a very good mileage for a full tank b16a.

ehm.. if not mistaken our full tank should be around 45l of petrol.
cos i pump 40.21l b4. let me check around n get back to you on this

but for tis full tank, i pump last thursday rm 74@38.60l n went 500km

travel around quite often last week.
usually my full tank will last me exactly 1 week or extra 1 day more

Wah moon your engine condition is very good. My car can never reach the 500km mark. Best is only 380-400km. Lucky you...

Then again, go change that cluster lah... 8k rpm doesn't do justice to B16A. Even mine also till 9k rpm.

tat means my fuel tank still got fuel ma. today ngam ngam touch red line only.
hehe if i have tried to go office. i would have gotten abt 530km

try turning 180 or 360 around.
some cases with the city steering lock
they had to turn quite alot b4 the lock engage.

so terror looking for a 1.8 type r

type r is always so pricy le.. why not look for a 1.8 engine but none type r. i tink it will cost less.
u can still mod it with the left over money n still beat the normal type r engine..

im actually looking for a local 1.6 vtec manual too put into the car, but kinda troublesome with all the jpj ruling for papers and receipts...then my friend at halfcut shop recommend me a b18c-r which he say very good condition....

but the price oso very $$$....still considering my options now....might get b16a instead but Ipoh kinda difficult to find manual EG6 ones....even an auto EG6 halfcut sells for rm4500

ermm....that's why i posted here coz i couldn't lock my steering. however, the steering was already quite stiff and hard to turn once my engine is turned off.

anyways, i already called the sales guy and he said the new Civics do not have steering locks...only gear locks.

near jfd;s place got 1 ek9 halfcut. b16b but not sure how much.
