I'm on VIP 5 RM149 previously and got upgraded for free few months ago to VIP 10

Today my gf received call from TM offer +extra RM10 to get upgrade to 30mbps and free jumbo pack TV

Anyone receive similar offer? The free jumbo pack is 1 month only is it?

Sounds like pretty worth, but the Jumbo pack if free only 1 month... May just stick to VIP10 at RM149

Other ppl is either enjoying their upgrade to waiting for more and i am still asking how to upgrade my vip5 to 10 foc?

thought of upgrading to unifi from 4mb streamyx. is the 30mb rm179 promotion worth it? how much exactly do you have to pay with the hypptvprogram bundle? rm179 or rm199 without gst? Thanks

Thinking of upgrading to 50mbps and get 100mbps upgrade next year. Not sure its worthwhile for me since I only download movies and music all the time.

Guys, just to inform that I've just call 100 to ask for the RM159 Unifi30 promo.

I just upgraded via the phone, from VIP10 to Adv30 for RM159(exclude GST) with Jumbo Pack & Std20(call plan - 1st 600min FOC to all number include mobile).

Only thing that my line is not entitle for the free upgrade from 30 to 50 because previously I got FOC upgrade from VIP5 to VIP10.

Last time the TM technician told me, in certain area have to use Alcatel Lucent BTU, the rest is using Huawei BTU. It's the area dependent. And not mistaken all the Alcatel Lucent provided by TM is gigabit port that why i didnt mension it.

better deal than most of us, same 30mbps package n without FOC calls, yet paying RM179 ( without gst)

they already mentioned rm159 not eligible for upgrade to 50mbps, while current 30mbps users are "expected" to be upgraded to 50mbps, no?

Can we still get the old vip5? I'm interested in free calls not much on Internet speed.

I guess it is now okay now to subscribe to the basic package + only the channels you want.
e.g. no need to subscribe to Jumbo Pack when all you want from it is, say, RTL CBS and al-Jazeera.

Jumbo pack = RM60
RTL CBS + al-Jazeera = RM9 + RM6 = RM15

I wanted to apply but at the road where I am living, there is no Unifi white box. Last time, I went to TMpoint to try applying Unifi but the staff told me, the road I am living at does not have the white box although some road at my residential area have the white box alr. I filled up a form requesting for unifi but to no avail. I just surrendered since it was alr few months and no reply. So, is it better to try applying thru authorized dealer now?

If previous I'm streamyx user during 22/12 my Unifi installed and terminal my streamyx on 23/12 how TM charges me streamyx bill?

Actually there are some residence in my Taman with Unifi, just only a few road in my Taman without applicants for Unifi, so they never place any port. I was thinking of just applying, see if TM wanna accept my application. The port also TM themselves placed when there are Unifi applicants. If no, they definitely won't place any port. Last time, when I went to TMpoint, they said my Taman was included in Unifi coverage.

I had just submitted the upgrade application to 50Mbps at UTC tm point. The lady told me the upgrade will normally be done within 24 hours else 3 working days if there is technical issue. I told her I want to be sure the upgrade must be completed by 31 dec 2016. She said she will confirm with me the upgrade by tmr evening whether the upgrade can be done. If not, she will not proceed further with my upgrade. Really cannot resist the rm53 (inc GST) for the 2x more download speed and 2.5x upload speed. Kind of no brainier given that it is just rm53 extra plus already paid so much for the 30Mbps.

The lady has given me her the tmpoint no so I can check with her on the status of upgrade easily plus UTC is operating 10am to 10pm and her shift is at night.

She said for terrace has no problem with the 100Mbps speed. The one that has problem is apartment, condo which it is the same as what I thought too before this due to the limitation of the medium.

She just mentioned that normally before upgrading to 100Mbps, it may have a downtime of 3 days in between.

Not sure about the one u went. But the one I went is definitely a tm point. Even the stamp of the address she gave clearly stated UTC TM point. And I had all sort of requests here all the time like normal TM point. It is confirmed not a normal dealer.

But certainly not the case that all utc has no TM point. 

I called 100. Then talked to the sales department. They asked for IC, Acc number and Unifi number. Then once everything settle the person read through the script asking me to confirm that I understand everything. I said ya and then was told to wait 7 days.

Then on the 27th it was day six. I call 100 and asked why haven't kautim yet. The lady said wait 7 days mah now only 6 days. Then I damn dulan lo if 6 days haven't done process then how should I believe that it will be completed on day 7? Damn frustrated. Some more she damn rude sia din say anything after that and terus hang up.
