just download from Google Play Store? or need to go thru certain hacking on the box?  biggrin.gif

https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3594298 Plenty of tips in this thread.
In short, install ES File Explorer from Google Play Store and download your APKs from websites like APK Pure and save in thumb drive, navigate from ES File Explorer and install from there. That's all.
No hacking is required.

Manually install APKs as this box cannot install most of the apps directly from Google Play. It is a very basic box but usable.

I thought you can access google playstore within the STB, one way is by enabling WLAN in the setting. Correct me if i'm wrong

*
Can but not all apps can be installed directly like I mentioned above.
Basically just download ES File Explorer and you can install any apps you like.
I am using it all the time but now downgraded to my spare box as I have bought a new and dedicated Android box.
HyppTV box is a good and basic box. Storage and RAM are very little.

QUOTE(Xefron @ Dec 29 2016, 03:54 PM)
free iFlix until Dec 2017.
*
Yeah, read about it that day but unfortunately after new update to the app, it cannot be used anymore in HyppTV box. sad.gif

No problem. Use 16.1 Kodi Jarvis, it's working for me.

Anyone here can show me what torrent client everyone using?

What settings for torrent 30mbps?

I can only got around 1.1mbps sometime 500kbps
On some  sites my download speed is not hitting 3.0mbps++ around 1mbps to 300kbps
*
I thought torrent also depends on seeders? I seldom use torrent but I use Xunlei when I torrent, the speed is not that bad. Kinda maximized, of course not as good as direct download via IDM which speed is maximized all the time.

Hi, i have 30mbps unifi package. I want to know is there any limitation or restrictions for number of users get wifi login at a time? last night i had 8+ users tried to login but some devices failed.
*
This is due to router's limitation.

In configuration page? I supposed your router only allows 8 devices.

i login to the hypptv using my google account. but it seems like both google play store and youtube apps cannot even connect to Internet.  confused.gif

TM had locked the apps?
*
I had this issue too initially. So I just factory reset it. Solved all the issues.
However, this box belongs to my friend, she gave it to me. Hence, I don't use any HyppTV in this box.

Guys since unifi subs were given with hypptv anywhere account, we can install the app on any tvbox and view right? Just the downside, the streaming is not on vlan, so instead of using dedicated 8mbps vlan connection, it will utilize the bandwidth of our main connection eg 30mbps or 10mbps etc

Correct me if I'm wrong please. Just looking into the possibility of not requiring to use stock stb and just go fully wifi without relying on using homeplugs and etc
*
Yes.

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Dec 30 2016, 08:57 AM)
iFlix won't work on the HyppTV box
You can use iFlix on other devices instead
*
It worked until the latest update. I was watching it happily from my HyppTV box.

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Dec 30 2016, 11:43 AM)
Why HyppTV Google Play cannot connect already?
*
Well, usually first login will have this issue. There are YouTube videos to solve this but never worked for me. Mine only OK after factory reset.

Yes, all semi-detached and bungalow houses here. Each pole is for two houses, I already checked around and confirmed by the installers too. laugh.gif
They have installed more than 50 poles.

Nothing new. There are places with 1 pole for 1 house. They also have 1 electric pole by TNB for 1 house. If you're some dato seri/tan sri, it's not very difficult to get.
*
Yes, few bungalow houses here are very far apart, so they have one pole for themselves. laugh.gif

*
Just connect to your UniFi connection, browse to iflix page or open iflix apps, that's all. It will detect your UniFi connection and straight free access and you can see all the titles.

Finally TM guy came to do installation. Able to get full 30Mb speed so far. He brought D-Link AC1200 Router. I tried to ask regarding the 50Mb upgrade, he told me its on technical availability.

Special thanks to @fruitie for recommending Quill City mall TM Point.  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
If it's landed property, should be OK to go even for 100Mbps.

Don't mention, enjoy your speed. On time before this year closes shop. laugh.gif
