QUOTE(westlife @ Dec 29 2016, 03:45 PM) https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=3594298 Plenty of tips in this thread. In short, install ES File Explorer from Google Play Store and download your APKs from websites like APK Pure and save in thumb drive, navigate from ES File Explorer and install from there. That's all. No hacking is required. Manually install APKs as this box cannot install most of the apps directly from Google Play. It is a very basic box but usable. QUOTE(jasmeet21 @ Dec 29 2016, 03:53 PM) I thought you can access google playstore within the STB, one way is by enabling WLAN in the setting. Correct me if i'm wrong Can but not all apps can be installed directly like I mentioned above.http://voyager8.blogspot.my/2016/01/upgrad...et-top-box.html Basically just download ES File Explorer and you can install any apps you like. I am using it all the time but now downgraded to my spare box as I have bought a new and dedicated Android box. HyppTV box is a good and basic box. Storage and RAM are very little. QUOTE(Xefron @ Dec 29 2016, 03:54 PM) Yeah, read about it that day but unfortunately after new update to the app, it cannot be used anymore in HyppTV box. |

I can only got around 1.1mbps sometime 500kbps On some sites my download speed is not hitting 3.0mbps++ around 1mbps to 300kbps |

QUOTE(westlife @ Dec 29 2016, 09:11 PM) i login to the hypptv using my google account. but it seems like both google play store and youtube apps cannot even connect to Internet. I had this issue too initially. So I just factory reset it. Solved all the issues.TM had locked the apps? However, this box belongs to my friend, she gave it to me. Hence, I don't use any HyppTV in this box. |

QUOTE(pluginbaby @ Dec 30 2016, 08:14 AM) Guys since unifi subs were given with hypptv anywhere account, we can install the app on any tvbox and view right? Just the downside, the streaming is not on vlan, so instead of using dedicated 8mbps vlan connection, it will utilize the bandwidth of our main connection eg 30mbps or 10mbps etc Yes.Correct me if I'm wrong please. Just looking into the possibility of not requiring to use stock stb and just go fully wifi without relying on using homeplugs and etc QUOTE(sHawTY @ Dec 30 2016, 08:57 AM) It worked until the latest update. I was watching it happily from my HyppTV box.QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Dec 30 2016, 11:43 AM) Well, usually first login will have this issue. There are YouTube videos to solve this but never worked for me. Mine only OK after factory reset. |

UniFi fellows are in front of my sister's house and installing pole now. One pole for two houses since they are semi-detached houses. All of us cannot wait.

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Dec 30 2016, 04:28 PM) Yes, all semi-detached and bungalow houses here. Each pole is for two houses, I already checked around and confirmed by the installers too. They have installed more than 50 poles. This post has been edited by fruitie: Dec 30 2016, 04:31 PM |

QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Dec 30 2016, 07:20 PM) Just connect to your UniFi connection, browse to iflix page or open iflix apps, that's all. It will detect your UniFi connection and straight free access and you can see all the titles. This post has been edited by fruitie: Dec 30 2016, 07:23 PM |

QUOTE(Ivan Sac @ Dec 31 2016, 12:52 PM) Finally TM guy came to do installation. Able to get full 30Mb speed so far. He brought D-Link AC1200 Router. I tried to ask regarding the 50Mb upgrade, he told me its on technical availability. If it's landed property, should be OK to go even for 100Mbps.Special thanks to @fruitie for recommending Quill City mall TM Point. Don't mention, enjoy your speed. On time before this year closes shop. |
