That is a pretty old model so sourcing for bnb for it might be a bit challenging, you can try searching in G-Shock FB groups like G Shock Fans Club etc

Mudman is a great choice if you like the looks of it, it is equipped with twin sensor (compass + thermometer) the GB version is around RM 600++ if not mistaken.

If you're willing to spend RM 800+, you can consider getting the Rangeman instead

erkk where can get rangeman RM600 . Seems lazy pulak to go gfactory kl just to buy gshock. Ipoh nearer I've asked RM999 discount 10% for mudman. G Master series they don't carry

If you read my post properly, I said GB version of Mudman is RM 600+ but it's AP set, not those from shops you can get them online in FB groups from AP sellers

G Factory will be expensive as they are selling at retail price normally...watch shops in KL generally offers 10-15% discount for their G-Shock watches

If you wanna be safe then insist for Marco set aka the authorised distributor set AP sets by reseller/smaller watch shops won't have the Marco warranty card..

Replica G-Shock has came a long way and is being very close to the original ones in terms of aesthetic but the movement inside is still the normal ones, they only replicate the famous models so it depends on what model you buy...

AFAIK there's no replica of Mudman/Rangeman yet..

Were wondering will Marco bring in GW-5035A not ? as there were official release in Casio USA...

Highly doubt that they will...

The price will be crazy even if they did bring it in...

actually got it about a week ago or so when it came out.
rm440 from pk time 1u... retail is rm499... so ok la... no need waste time go kl etc.
plus its marco set which is important cos its a 3 hander model and with all the potential problems other models have had like gulfmaster, mudmaster, gravity defiers...so not taking chances.

this model the LCD uses Neobrite, does it makes a big difference on legibility as compared to GA-700 series ?

on the hands u mean...
obviously does, since there's nothing on ga700...
the ga800 hands also easier to read since its not monstrous sized.
plus ga800 has dual led, for the dial and the lcd...a first for entry lvl gshock...
ga700 only lights up the dial... so needless to say its lcd is next to useless in low light.

i flipped my ga700 for ga800 for that reason alone... having it more normal size also helps... basically its just a little bit bigger than a 6900... so quite wearable.
