QUOTE(fouzhi @ Nov 24 2017, 10:25 AM) Don't worry pal, new Gear Sport is on its way very soon besides that I guess not very much people aware of the Spay rewards on September most of them start late during October so you are one of the pioneer during September then should not be worried. I don't think it's wise for me to bet. I did missed out on September altogether. Personally I think there will be 10~20 units up for redemption. Besides the expiry is just too short to bet for future offerings. Even though I was hoping for Doubles Day promotion, or Samsung Dex, I changed my mind after reading that Samsung might be planning for a wireless dex next year.New Gear Sport and IconX |

QUOTE(dr2k3 @ Nov 26 2017, 08:05 PM) it's normal, it is supposed to have different digital card number for different device. How did you install Spay in your S6E? The reason being S6 and S6E only support NFC but no MST. If use paywave, can but Samsung decided to exclude it to streamline everything.no idea, try check with the CIMB CS, if they say can't they are bullshieting, ask them check at different angle. I use US set phone(S6 Edge, which they advertise cannot use SPay[Malaysia set], SG set Gear 3 and i add my card at both device like nobody business. |

QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Nov 28 2017, 01:23 PM) Still there are chances of risking other people lives. Why risking it? Quite sure that wave function at pump is certainly not for phone. Why would it risk lives when it only involved contactless transactions?Paywave is basically NFC. Whether you use card or Spay phone, its not your card or phone that makes the verification. Its the petrol station terminal that does the job. This post has been edited by andrekua2: Nov 28 2017, 01:41 PM |

QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Nov 28 2017, 02:52 PM) You have to power up your phone to enable the spay. Spay is lovked with either iris or password. Spay doesn't work when your phone is in stanby mode. Power up the phone by the pump already risk lives. Lol. This is what I call being paranoid. If phone spark so easily, petrol station still there? Which motorist don't carry a phone around? Besides you tap first then only pump. Not while you're pumping. What's the risk?Bro, Unless you back your statement with facts, you're merely spreading rumours. |

QUOTE(Double_C @ Dec 1 2017, 12:24 PM) QUOTE(iloveusms @ Dec 1 2017, 12:26 PM) Sure? I think I will use it but not that much. I still think debit card better, thus prefer Spay. I really dont like the idea to preload credit in order to use it. |

QUOTE(lawrencek @ Dec 1 2017, 01:14 PM) Should be... someone already posted.I wonder if these are eligible for the S8 promo by BHP... if then it would be a nice 3 in 1 combo. Spay points, mastercard cash back and chance to win S8 if you pump BHP (mastercard contactless campaign). |

QUOTE(iloveusms @ Dec 1 2017, 01:23 PM) I will still use it. Just that I hope more merchant will use it. Most of my retail transaction are now being done through Spay with debit card. No need to remember when to pay CC. Still waiting for them to change the limit for debit card contactless so that it could be more convenient for petrol pump. |

If you think about it logically, impossible they will allocate much. I already speculate could be 5 or slightly more. However it could be less as well. Hence why I faster exchange IconX.
Personally I put the value between 10 to 20K for Samsung promotion. I believe they also paid to banks to support Samsung Pay. |

QUOTE(David83 @ Dec 7 2017, 07:13 PM) I found out that Caltex at Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah near to Bayan Lepas roundabout is taking RM 248 as pre-authorization amount. Are you using HLB card?I reported to Caltex too but they responded back by asking me for evidence. So lazy to reply them. Some station managed to set it correctly while others are probably using the wrong settings. |

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ Dec 11 2017, 02:39 PM) By the way guys, any idea how to increase the limit for paywave? I thought it's RM250 per transactions but today it told me I have reached my limit even though I only swiped RM200. And after that my grocery purchase of RM51 couldn't get through. You can't really change anything. Every bank has different limit. Although I have never used credit card with Spay, I don't think it's much different from debit card. For example, RHB debit card limit them to RM250 per day or 10 times consecutive paywave transactions which then could be reset by using the physical card with pin once. HLB debit card does it differently. You can swipe multiple times consecutively as long as you don't exceed RM400 in total. Then just use physical card plus pin to reset. Spay can't override all these. Banks are cautious too. No one wants to be on the losing side if frauds happen. I think Spay is there to provide convenient for smaller transactions. For bigger amount, card issuers still hope that people would use card + pin to protect both consumers and themselves. |

QUOTE(SevereSuffering @ Dec 25 2017, 10:29 AM) How many days would it normally take to ship out the samsung pay rewards items? It's already stated in Samsung Pay reward tnc. Once fully redeemed, they will ship out within 21 days provided everyone cooperative enough to enter their details promptly.I know they said 30 days in the app however I want to know from real life experiences. |

QUOTE(CyberKewl @ Dec 25 2017, 11:06 AM) it should be around 21 working days. my most recent experience is they really make use of it - i think they string together a few redemptions, so say you redeem today, but another guy redeem 2 weeks later - they wont send out when you redeem, but try to wait till a lot of people or everyone redeem only they deliver. Not when you redeem but when promo ended aka fully redeemed.mine was my iconx, redemption made on 20th November but delivery was on 15th December which was close to the 21 working days delivery timeline. dont waste time calling the support center - they wont be able to tell when you will get it. so just have to be patient. |
