I don't think it's wise for me to bet. I did missed out on September altogether. Personally I think there will be 10~20 units up for redemption. Besides the expiry is just too short to bet for future offerings. Even though I was hoping for Doubles Day promotion, or Samsung Dex, I changed my mind after reading that Samsung might be planning for a wireless dex next year.

How did you install Spay in your S6E? The reason being S6 and S6E only support NFC but no MST. If use paywave, can but Samsung decided to exclude it to streamline everything.

Why would it risk lives when it only involved contactless transactions?

Paywave is basically NFC. Whether you use card or Spay phone, its not your card or phone that makes the verification. Its the petrol station terminal that does the job.

This is what I call being paranoid. If phone spark so easily, petrol station still there? Which motorist don't carry a phone around? Besides you tap first then only pump. Not while you're pumping. What's the risk?

I wonder if these are eligible for the S8 promo by BHP... if then it would be a nice 3 in 1 combo. Spay points, mastercard cash back and chance to win S8 if you pump BHP (mastercard contactless campaign).

I will still use it. Just that I hope more merchant will use it. Most of my retail transaction are now being done through Spay with debit card. No need to remember when to pay CC. Still waiting for them to change the limit for debit card contactless so that it could be more convenient for petrol pump.

If you think about it logically, impossible they will allocate much. I already speculate could be 5 or slightly more. However it could be less as well. Hence why I faster exchange IconX.

Personally I put the value between 10 to 20K for Samsung promotion. I believe they also paid to banks to support Samsung Pay.

I think Samsung will offer something on Doubles day which is 12.12, better pay attention.

Are you using HLB card?

I reported to Caltex too but they responded back by asking me for evidence. So lazy to reply them.

Some station managed to set it correctly while others are probably using the wrong settings.

You can't really change anything. Every bank has different limit.

Although I have never used credit card with Spay, I don't think it's much different from debit card. For example, RHB debit card limit them to RM250 per day or 10 times consecutive paywave transactions which then could be reset by using the physical card with pin once.

HLB debit card does it differently. You can swipe multiple times consecutively as long as you don't exceed RM400 in total. Then just use physical card plus pin to reset.

Spay can't override all these. Banks are cautious too. No one wants to be on the losing side if frauds happen.

I think Spay is there to provide convenient for smaller transactions. For bigger amount, card issuers still hope that people would use card + pin to protect both consumers and themselves.

Just received. Buying S8 has been quite worth it given the lazada voucher and now free iconx.

It's already stated in Samsung Pay reward tnc. Once fully redeemed, they will ship out within 21 days provided everyone cooperative enough to enter their details promptly.

Not when you redeem but when promo ended aka fully redeemed.
