Yup. Although S8 is being notoriously expensive, but this time Samsung did spent quite a bit on marketing and promotion to make it worthwhile. I too got an iconx which is not bad considering how much it cost. Plus all those vouchers, free meals every now and then. It has been a good year for Samsung and their customers.

Now they even had this essay writing competition. I just submitted yesterday even though didn't really want to join earlier. Prizes are simply too attractive... at least must try.

I think paywave cant exceed RM250 (most of the banks) or RM400 (HLB special). I think some are saying try the mst and see if it will go through.

Previously those who redeemed gear s3 also kena but I didn't when I redeemed iconx2016. Perhaps they are trying to understand how you guys get so many points that all those redemption run out of stock so fast.

I also have 13 more to go despite spamming lots of big transactions on Samsung Pay to aim for pbb free gift. Getting sick really sucks meaning I can't spam on mcd for the past few days nor do I have the time to spam in tesco.

Detour to Aeon Big and left frustrated with PBB card again... after one RM4.40, already do not honor. No choice, reset... next transaction the newbie cashier press cash... speechless... giving up for this month.

BTW, I just called pbb yet again and this time they told me something different about paywave. I was told 10 times RM250 accumulative the first time and the second time 10 times RM250 daily.

This time around, I was told 9 transactions and 10th will be blocked. After double checking my Samsung Pay and credit card outstanding transactions, this is most accurate answer. Indeed the RM4.40 was the 9th transaction and the next one was blocked. Now I just need to try the RM600 paywave limit and see if he got it correct. Will just use pbb card to pump petrol few times with bigger transactions until it block to verify this.

I just went to Tesco to spam Mentos to complete 50 transactions. Even after spamming for petrol, meals, clothing this CNY, it is proven really hard to meet 50 this month especially when I skipped MCD.

I noticed that whenever I paid KFC, it will be shown late on samsung pay and the transaction will have an asterisk beside it.

I think sooner or later they will reduce the points and remove the cap. I will still use it regardless of redemption or not. For me, the convenience is worth buying the phone.

I hope someday instead of giving useless stuffs like gear etc, Samsung would let maybe first 50 or so to redeem a right to go to their phone launching and buy it at a certain discounted rate, say 20%.

Also can organize like booking a movie hall where all inside are using samsung pay redemption.

Now Q10 MY cannot use for Samsung Pay already. Need to use the new global version.

It was written 1 per week for one ID. I guess indirectly Q10 trying to get multiple accounts created..
